    oscFileBrowser Trouble

    Hi Did you solve this issue. It sounds like a javascript issue. Check instructions for /admin/categories.php that you have got all the javascript files loading. Regards Jim Chisholm (oscFileBrowser creator)

    oscFilebrowser; Forbidden - Error 403

    There is a new version of the File Manager / Browser at http://www.jellygnite.com.au/blog/index.ph...for-oscommerce/ I am the author of this contribution so if you have any problems or questions with it - drop me an email or PM. There is an issue with the .htaccess file in the admin/includes folder. On some setups this will stop the file browser from working. Another solution is to install the file browser to a different folder under the /admin folder. You will need to adjust any relevant paths of course. RE: htaccess - It has to with the AllowOverride command on apache servers. Regards Jim Chisholm

    If you had followed the instructions properly you should get extra image fields in the admin area. Sounds like you left a step out. Try going over the instructions again. Jim

    Hi Lisa I copied this from another topic - sounds like the problem you are having: unexpected T_CASE means you have a case statement that has somehow become disconnected from it's switch. I am making the assumption you have recently installed a new contribution when this problem came up, at least that is the most frequent cause for this type of issue. Carefully go over the steps you performed when you added the contribution. Walk through each of the case statements in the file, ensure that each is complete and you haven't stuck your code in the middle of one. Go back to your back up of the page and perform the steps again, being very deliberate with your tasks. These are all simple basic trouble shooting steps to isolate the problem, which will help you not only for this particular problem, and also with those that happen to crop up in the future. Regards Jim

    Multi images extra contribution

    Hi Gary GD is an open source code library for the dynamic creation of images. It needs to be installed on the web server. Most shared web hosting providers would have this installed already alongside with PHP. More info at http://www.boutell.com/gd/ Regards Jim

    Did you add this bit? Note in catalog section (not admin). 2. Modify catalog/includes/configure.php Insert at ~ line 37: // make sure this number matches the number of image fields in the data base define('NUM_EXTRA_IMAGES', 4);

    Can you tell us what the issue was for your first problem so as to help other users? Regarding second image, I can only suggest double checking all the code entries. I can't really do anything without seeing the admin area.

    Sounds like permissions. Have you tried setting all the folders and files to 777. I had a similar issue and when I reset the permissions on everything from "/images" down it solved it. Jim

    Multi images extra contribution

    If you have a UNIX based server then please check out my contribution. oscExtraImages - As many images as you want http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri.../search,oscextr You need to have oscFileBrowser contribution (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4568) installed for this to work which is the reason it won’t run on Windows installation. Together these two contributions make adding images so painless. I would love some feedback, good or bad.

    The documentation states that it won't run on a Windows server.

    It does sound like the one of the other contributions you have are interfering. I have only tested this on a standard install of oscommerce.
