  1. Hi Jim I am having some trouble with products attributes and looking for some way to sort it. I tried to install the "option types V2" module but it seems the changes made to products_info.php changes the way attributes work in a significant way. I mainly need a way to sort the attributes in the correct order and also allow me to add a description to help the user understand what each option means. Are you aware of a module that might do this that is compatible? Thanks!
  2. Thanks Jim Will give it a go or if I cannot solve it - will stick with the suggested sizes!
  3. Hi Thanks for your great contributions. I am trying to start moving my old heavily modified store from a very old version of OSC and this module (along with several of your others) is perfect. I note from the instructions it says it is best to have the image 40 px or less. I really need a slightly larger height image. I have tried uploading one and it does work however the larger drop down box does cover part of the next one or two lines down. Is there a way to force it to clear that or is this the reason for the 40px limit? Many thanks. Olly
  4. I have found the navigation bar as well now - it was again a module that I had not installed. Thanks again
  5. @@ArtcoInc thank you - this is really helpful and I was confused. Most of the header modules were not turned on and what I was looking at was the top text of the index page. What I don't have is any black navbar. The first thing I have now on the screen is the breadcrumbs. Is there some option of turning the navbar on? Thanks a lot for helping. Olly
  6. Hi Everyone I have just installed this and looks a great improvement to my old 2.2 store. Can anyone help with a layout question? I am ideally looking for a header section that takes up the whole width then a narrowed width below for the rest of the site. At present the columns left and right are to the left and right of the header, at the very top of the page, rather than below. I can turn off the boxes and start manually hacking the code but I wonder if there is an easier way to achieve what I am looking for? Thanks a lot in advance.
  7. apologies but realised my post was answered by Escaping above - thanks a lot for that!
  8. Hi does anyone else have an issue whereby express checkout no longer works and redirects to a screen stating Sorry — your last action could not be completed This is a UK site. Thanks a lot
  9. Jack- you have been most helpful as ever - I have been here since 2006 and you have always provided amazing support - so thank you.
  10. Thanks a lot. I have solved that issue but I have another that I thought would be part of the same thing: Warning: array_flip() [function.array-flip]: Can only flip STRING and INTEGER values! in /var/www/vhostsxxxx/httpdocs/xxx/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 136 This is when I run Manually Check for Hacked Files Is this something else?
  11. Understand part 1 The second error is due to how the server is setup. You need to talk to your host about changing the settings to allow files to be written to. Can you advise what setting this is and I will enable it as I am on a VPS so am able to configure any changes. Thanks
  12. Hi I have recently installed this contrib. However I get a couple of errors. Firstly: WARNING: Your images directory contains non-image type files which is, generally, not correct. I have checked and I have the .htaccess here as well as a thumbs.db within one directory and an arial.ttf file. These are from another contribution. Is there a way to put in a exception for these files? Also I get the following error: Warning: copy(sitemonitor_log_013_06_2011.txt) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/www/vhosts/xxxx/httpdocs/xxxxx/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 245 Failed to create backup log file Thanks a lot
  13. Hi I am experrience a problem with this installation. I can see the One Page checkout screen but the box that comes up saying "loading: setting payment method" just hangs I look down the page and I can see an error: Warning: str_repeat() [function.str-repeat'>function.str-repeat]: Second argument has to be greater than or equal to 0 in /var/www/vhosts/sun-awnings-direct.co.uk/httpdocs/includes/modules/payment/cc.php on line 192 This relates to : array('title' => MODULE_PAYMENT_CC_TEXT_CREDIT_CARD_NUMBER, 'field' => substr($this->cc_card_number, 0, 4) . str_repeat('X', (strlen($this->cc_card_number) - 8)) . substr($this->cc_card_number, -4)), Has anyone else come across this? I am trying to use it with RBS worldpay. Thanks a lot
  14. The test was fine, I have tried running it again and this time the error did not occur. all pages seem to have the correct header tags so all seems well. Thanks a lot and keep up the fantastic work!
  15. Hi Jack Haven't been around here for a while but nice to see you still supporting this great contrib. I have just installed a fresh version of OSC and followed the steps to install the latest version of this module. When I go to fill tags however I get the following error message for each item: Failed to load page from shop: http://www.url.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=18&language=en When actually following the url manually it works fine I apologise if this has already been addressed but a search did not show any results. Any ideas?
