  1. Hey. I've been trying to modify the existing cc.php in order to accept and process CC payments but I've had no luck. My current gateway is HSBC and yes, before you point it out, I've tried the HSBC e-Secure contrib; it doesn't work for me though. HSBC's new (I guess?) gateway is based on curl. Has anyone here modified or created a whole new module for something like this? I'm not quite sure I have the time to code a whole new module instead of just modifying one, so if that's the case... I'd be willing to hire someone to do it. I've got all the details, just no time. PM if interested or whatever. Thanks!

    YaCC (Yet Another Computer Creator)

    Okay, so I have a semi-working version now. Test server is at http://www.purrun.com/osc/build2.php - feedback appreciated and encouraged. I'm working on the admin part right now; shouldn't be too long now.
  3. Hopefully this is the correct forum for this type of thread... if not, my apologies. I'm coding my own computer creator. At the moment it has multi-level dependencies (graphics card depends on motherboard, which depends on processor), multilingual support (external file), dynamic price tags, default choices (packages supported - server/gaming/client/whatever) and reduced filesize/overhead. It's completely customizable by CSS. I've yet to code the osCommerce integration, but so far so good... have yet to code the administration part and optimize the code even more. Anyway, sneak peek: http://www.purrun.com/pc (So to sum it up, it's not ready for release... yet...) Please let me know if you have any feedback on it.

    Thanks. I'll see how I can make it work w/ osC and then upload it.

    Hrm.. Will do. Any feedback on what's shown on the page? Mine, that is.

    YaCC (Yet Another Computer Creator)

    Need some help getting the creator to add the custom PC to the order. How would I go on about adding a "dynamic product"? Or should I just add a placeholder product and add the config info to a comments section or something around that?

    Global discount

    Hey all. I'm trying to code a very simple "coupon-like" contrib that'll allow the admin to configure a global discount (ie, 20%) to be calculated after subtotal but before taxes. So far so good, but I can't seem to get it to work. Example code: function process() { global $order, $currencies; if ($this->magic != 1.00) { $this->title = $this->title . " (" . number_format(((1.00 - $this->magic) * 100), 0) . "%)"; $this->desc = 1.00 - $this->magic; $this->output[] = array('title' => $this->title . ':', 'text' => "-" . $currencies->format($order->info['subtotal'] * $this->desc, true, $order->info['currency'], $order->info['currency_value']), 'value' => -$order->info['subtotal'] * $this->desc); } } $this->magic holds the discount number (0.8 for 20%). It doesn't seem to modify the end price at all... doesn't even add to it if I remove the sign. Hope someone can enlighten me... Thanks in advance.

    Easy Discount

    Having some troubles w/ the contribution... for some reason the subtotal is modified, but taxes are still being calculated with the old subtotal. Any way to fix this? My current sort order is this: Subtotal/Discounts/Shipping/Tax/Rounding/Total

    Global discount

    So... how do I process it? I've decided to use your contrib... but just for the sake of curiousity. Thanks.

    Fixed rate by zone + Extra?

    Trying to figure out if there's a contrib like this or if I'll end up creating one for the gang. The shipping carrier I'm using has fixed "standard" fees for some zones, which also allow you to send up to 5kg per order. After this, they add a variable rate (also depends on zone) for every 0.5kg that exceeds the 5kg spec. Any pointers?

    Which is better?

    Granted... there'll be several point of views regarding the resellers. But as far as A.net, would being based in Mexico be a problem? Who's your reseller? (If you use A.net that is) Google Checkout is still only available in the US, so I'm left with fewer choices. :(

    Which is better?

    Hey all. Been reading up on the forums for the past ~4 hours but can't seem to find an absolute answer. I'm opening my (first) e-commerce site with Mexican people in mind. However, I can't seem to figure out who the best A.net reseller is, whether it's available for my situation (I live in Mexico as well) and the like. Same thing goes for Google Checkout. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction here... The whole payment ideas are CC/Debit cards, Wire transfer and possibly COD. But I'm still not sure... Thanks in advance.
