  1. Thanks! This helped me a ton. The fix for the cfg. file in the second post was good as well.
  2. Thanks to all who have worked on USPS Methods. It's a great contribution. Question: Is there a way to modify USPS Methods 6.1 to return only the shipping method(s) appropriate for the package weight (or size)? For example, currently the system returns package rates for Large Flat Rate Box, Medium Flat Rate Box and Small Flat Rate Box for a 1 ounce package. I set my package sizes in USPS Methods Admin to match the flat rate package dimensions, and I'd like to see the Small Flat Rate Box be the only option given for packages up to 5 lbs., Medium for 5 - 10 lbs., etc. It looks rather foolish in shipping options otherwise seeing all the flat rate boxes as options. Thanks!
  3. I was having similar problems. Be sure to define the flat rate box dimensions accurately in USPS Methods Admin. Small FR Box is 8.625 x 5.375 x 1.625. Medium FR Box is 11 x 8.5 x 8.5, and Large FR Box is 12 x 12 x 8.5. Without the proper dimensions these will not show as options. I made shipments less than 5 lbs. the Small FR Box dimensions, 5-10 Medium, and Large above that.
  4. I assume you figured this out by now, but the line for "Products Weight" is native to OSCommerce, and is the very last line of the product description. Weight should be given in pounds, using decimal places for fractions of pounds. So, no need to add Product Options or change anything.
  5. Mine (6.1) seems to be working. What is the problem you are having?
  6. FOLLOWUP: Upon further research, I believe the correct way to solve this problem is by putting in very accurate dimensions for the package sizes. For example, for shipments up to 5 pounds, a small flat rate box is 8.625 x 5.375 x 1.625. Once these were added domestic and international flat rate box options showed accurately.
  7. Although I solved my previous problem of Domestic "Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box" not showing, now I am experiencing the same problem with "Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Box" not showing. Does anyone have this option working in their install? Does anyone have a fix? Thanks!
  8. The answer for The answer for me was to capitalize FLAT in the line. 'Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box' => 'SM FLAT Rate Box',
  9. I am having the same problem. Has anyone solved this? Looked at Ken's solution, but line 299 of usps.php in USPS Methods 6.1 is 'CU' => 'Cuba', Thanks.
  10. Do what I did just prior to your post and you should be alright.
  11. I was having similar problems with version 5.2 and 2.2 RC2. Banning was not working, and attempts to go to the trap redirected to the site index. In the end I deleted all the IP addresses in the whitelist that had only 3 parts, and left all the 4 part addresses intact. Now it seems to ban correctly, and the whitelist seems to work properly (I think). When my IP is on the whitelist and not the banned list I am redirected to the index.php. Not sure what the problem is (could be too many addresses in there, or some other error), but there's a workaround that might work for some.
  12. Try changing the E-mail address for your shop in the module from me@mydomain.com to your sandbox business account, business@mydomain.com.
  13. My parcel post calculations are also incorrect. Everything else checks out with USPS online rate calculator. Any ideas? Using USPS Methods 2.9.6.
  14. Same problem here as well, with no clue as to how to fix it. My shop runs SSL and has had no problems with PayPal IPN up until now. Thanks for any help.
  15. Hi, I think this is a great add-on for this contribution, and would like to do the same myself. Thanks for the great work. Do you have any idea how it will accomodate more than 1 variable in a field, i.e. in the field "Authors" to have listed "Alan Moore, Frank Miller"? Would it just add all together and give you both, or could it be made to link the authors separately to the search results? Any plans to add this oadd-on to the Extra Fields contribution page? Thanks.
