  1. Apologies if this is in the wrong place (Mods feel free to move it if it is) or if the answer is stupidly obvious. I'm after something that can generate an email mailout of new products, either at the touch of a button or automaticaly every week. I've had a search and can't seem to find any modules that do this - are there any? If so what do people recomend. Alternatively is there a way of doing this, I've seen that there's a couple of xml feed generators that I expect could be used to create the data, but how could that be used to generate the email message?

    osPlayer v2

v2 is looking very nice. Just one question - does it start to pull the audio from the host site when it's opened or is it when play starts? I'ld like to have it incorporated into a page as is possible by setting 'Open player in a pop up' to false - but not if it's going to start using significant bandwidth everytime a page is opened.
  4. Hi Sorry if this has been covered before, I had a search and couldn't find what I needed to know. I'm putting this rss feed module into an instalation of oscommerce, and I'ld like it to show the product descriptions (or at least part of them) in the feed reader. I'm asuming the placing of the description goes in the file that was downloaded from that link round about here (where the blah's are): echo "<link>$link; </link>"; echo "<description> blah blah blah blah blah blah Item Price: $price </description>"; echo "</item>"; $count++; } ################################################### # Finished looping, now close of the xml/rss page # ################################################### And presumably something needs to call the info from the database. Other than that I'm not quite sure what needs to be put where. I've got a very basic knowledge of php, xml and mysql so any pointers would be apreciated. Tia. More questions in the morning I expect.
