  1. This answer is probably a little late but if you installed the contribution, it should have had an .htaccess file with it that goes in the logs directory that looks like this: *********************************************************** BOF # $Id: .htaccess 2856 2007-06-08 00:42:19Z Ropu $ # # This is used with Apache WebServers # The following blocks direct HTTP requests in this directory recursively # # This will prevent access to logs from the web <Files *.log> Order Deny,Allow Deny from all Allow from localhost </Files> EOF ******************************************************* (And would be basically the same as unix/linix) servers This file only allows local host (serverside)access to these files........ You can type in : http://www.yoursite.com/public_html/google...nse_message.log (or url to your files to see if it will call it up!!) Hope this helps
  2. Roaddoctor, If your still around. Or anyone else have any errors like this ?? IT'S PROBABLY SOMETHING SIMPLE AND I'M JUST OVERLOOKING IT... Any ideas on these errors in shopping cart : This is what shows at top of page after selecting product and clicking (BUY NOW) AND IT GOES TO THE SHOPPING CART PAGE WITH THIS ERROR ON TOP Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/computer/public_html/shopping_cart.php:2) in /home/computer/public_html/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 97 Everything else looks good on the page,I'VE GOT A BUTTON and I can complete checkout if I just continue on through and google completes/accepts,and acknowledges the sale BUT IF I TRY CHECK THE ITEM TO UPDATE THE CART TO GO BACK AND MAKE A DIFFERENT SELECTION I GET THIS WHEN I CHECK BOX THEN CLICK THE UPDATE BUTTON THE WHOLE PAGE GOES WHITE WITH THESE ERRORS ON TOP Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/computer/public_html/shopping_cart.php:2) in /home/computer/public_html/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 97 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/computer/public_html/shopping_cart.php:2) in /home/computer/public_html/includes/functions/general.php on line 33 Dan Abner MC
  3. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CREATOR OF THIS CONTRIBUTION ? I'M SURE HE DID A GREAT JOB BUT IT WOULD BE NICE IF HE ADDED (A FEW) COMMENTS NOW AND THEN. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT HE DID NOT GET ANY COMPENSATION FOR DOING IT BUT I SURE COULD USE SOME SUGGESTIONS. DERRICK !!! WHERE ARE YOU ? :o DAN ABNER MC
  4. Roaddoctor, I tried the sandbox change you suggested, didn't work. So I tried this change so tell me what you think!! BEFORE TRYING THIS WHEN I CLICKED ON G-CHECKOUT IT WAS TRYING TO CALL UP: /shopping_cart.php/action/update_product SO AFTER LOOKING AT THE CODE I THOUGHT IF THE </form> WAS AFTER THE CALL FOR UPDATE BUT BEFORE CALL-UP FOR G-CHECKOUT THAT IT SHOULD WORK! SO, AFTER PLACING ( </FORM> ) AFTER LINE #197: <td class="main"><?php echo tep_image_submit('button_update_cart.gif',IMAGE_BUTTON_UPDATE_CART); ?></td> SO I TRIED IT AT THE END OF LINE #202 AND I GET THE SAME,BUT BACK IN THE ORIGINAL PLACE IT'S BACK TO NO BUTTON AT ALL!! I ACTUALLY CLICKED ON G-CHEKOUT AND GOT THIS: HTTP 400 BAD REQUEST WITH THIS IN THE ADDRESS BAR! { MY MERCHANT ID } https://sandbox.google.com/cws/v2/Merchant/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/checkout SO WHY WOULD IT GO AS FAR AS SHOWING MY MERCHANT ID ,PLUS IT TRIED TO GO TO G-CHECKOUT(sandbox) SO WHY SHOULD I GET THE HTTP 400 - Bad Request ? IT SHOWS HTTPS:// IN THE ADDRESS BAR....... SEEMS LIKE THIS SHOULD BE RIGHT, ANY THOUGHTS, CAUSE I AM AT LEAST CALLING UP THE sandbox URL,so what should it do from there? Any comments Are welcome, I'm Determind to MAKE THIS WORK! Dan Abner MC
  5. Well All, I really Hate being a (Pessimist = A person who expects the worst.) But I just do not see this contribution (Google Checkout 2 v .6 ) working right at all. D.A. MC :-"
  6. Yeh, I know I'm loosing it (and thats when its the most obvious thing)but I did make sure everything was turned on, I have followed the instructions to the "T" (Examined, observed, looked over carefully, questioned closely), and even though I'm going nutty Yep! I checked it. The only thing I can figure Roaddoctor is everyone has said I have a custom store and all I have is a store bought template from diamondsea and a few contribs that I installed, Supertracker,Ultimate SEO URLs,Page Editor 1.5, AlertPay Payment Module (I tried it with this turned off) and thats about all thats been added, other than that its stock! Just doesn't make sense that the Button will not show. I have read the google API so much I should be able to quote it ! Well Thanks for at least answering my post, I'm still searching,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Dan A. :D MC
  7. :'( Anyone (Derrick, Roaddoctor) tell me what other files would control (call up) showing the goolecheckout Button other than the , Google_Button_Code.php or Shoppin_Cart.php from the .6 contrib ? Some how I'm gooa figure this out even if I have to take my store down and re-install this thing just to find out if it is on of the added contribs that I have installed . I really hate to destroy a (Custom built shop) but I can't understand why no one else has had this problem ! NO BUTTON............ ON THE EDGE...................... :'( Dan Abner MC
  8. Never Mind Where did the (Google_New_Orders.php) come from,DUH ... I'm loosing it, I will wait around for suggestions on the Button................ :-"
  9. Was wondering where the (/Google_New_Orders.php) comes from ? Also I have checked my scripts and sql from this contrib over and over and I still can't fiqure out why I cannot get the (GoogleCheckout Button) to show up in my shopping cart .. I have a few contrib's thats been added to my site since Febuary 06, is it possible one of them are interfering with the Button ? I'm at a loss !!! :'( Any comments welcome,Pleeeese!! D.Abner MC
  10. Hello , I'm hopeing to attract anyone to this post that has installed google checkout 2 ver .5 or .6 that have had any issues installing and any fix's that you might know of to help me and other people that want to use this contribution. I am not trying to be sarcastic (By inserting this) , but I can't seem to get any answers on the Support forum as no one has answered any questions I have posted there lately. So maybe their is someone else that has had the problems I am faced with. I do have all the files needed to run Google Checkout 2 on my server, and I have re-loaded my .sql several times and redone it. I do have the google controls in my osc admin with my Merchant ID & Merchant Key installed. I have placed all the files from the contribution in my shop directory, more than once just to make sure I did not load a bad file. On every occasion I seem to never get the (checkout button) showing in my cart. Is it possible that one of my other added contributions is blocking this ? Added Contrib's: Supertracker v3.20, SEO URLS , googlesitemaps, linkmachine, caRp, alertPay(tried with this turned off ), Extra Pages-Info Box w/admin ..........and thats about it ! So just maybe one of them is making it not work ? So if anyone has any ideas or input, I really wouldn't mind hearing about it Good or Bad ! Thank you (Anyone) very much in advance, Dan Abner MC :-"

  16. Derrick, Is this Update from your contrib, I did not see anything different in the .sql It's Posted just above yours Dan Google Checkout Level 2 SQL Fix (leisuret) 23 Aug 2006 Fixed bug in SQL changing '(' to GOOGLE_CHECKOUT_PRODUCTION. This value was causing all transactions to be directed to the sandbox.
  17. Yea, I didn't mention that one, But I did edit the shopping_cart.php and also tried just using the one with the contrib but didn't make any difference either way :'( , I'm sure it's right. I also noticed the test_google_functions with the contrib did not display if your site would work or not, but I have a good test_google_functions.php file that does work right and am posting it if anyone needs it, the other one just had a couple of $allgood commands missing. But I'm still testing, trying to figure out what I've missed here......still no Google Checkout Button  Gota keep lookin //<----------------BOF----------------> <!-- Page by The Midnight Coder --> <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <title>Test Google Checkout Functions</title> </head> <body> <h2>Test Google Checkout Functions</h2> <p>This PHP file checks to see if your server is set up to use Google Checkout.</p> <?php $allgood=true; if (!function_exists("curl_init")) { print "Your website doesn't support CURL, so Google Checkout can't be used<br><br>"; $allgood=false; }else{ print "CURL is Supported<br><br>"; } if (!function_exists("domxml_new_doc")) { print "Your website doesn't support Lib XML, so Google Checkout can't be used<br><br>"; $allgood=false; }else{ print "LibXML is Supported<br><br>"; } if($allgood){ print "<font color='green'>YOUR SERVER WILL SUPPORT THIS MOD!</font><br /><br />"; }else{ print "<font color='red'>Your server will <b>not</b> support this mod!</font><br /><br />"; } ?> In addition, your server must support HTTPS/SSL for Level 2 Integration. 22. I agree with you on making mods to files, but having your admin set to (Development) is sending to a live google server called (googlesandbox) and it is for making your setup run right before sending it to the real (transaction server) called Production ..
  23. Would we not want to use the development (googlesandbox) server to troubleshoot the set-up? Just asking. Aslso did your google checkout show in your cart? I can't seem to see one anywhere. I think that some perimeters do have to be set in the files? ??
  24. derrick, Don't ask how, cause I don't know what I did but I had multiple entries listed in my admin 3 times. So I just deleted the entire google_checkout.sql and re-loaded it and now it shows like it should. So now I'm loading the rest and see if it works for me, Thanks for the response and I am going to get me a new DVD after while :D Dan A
