    USPS Rate V4, Intl Rate V2 (official support thread)

    Hi Jetta, I'm fairly new to this stuff and was wondering if you could kindly elaborate on how dculley fixed their issue. I am getting this error (see below) and honestly, I have no idea what to do. My site has been running fine for 7+ years but after recently updating the USPS shipping module, I cannot edit products in my catalog anymore. 1054 - Unknown column 'products_length' in 'field list' select pd.products_name, pd.products_description, pd.products_url, p.products_id, p.products_quantity, p.products_model, p.products_image, p.products_price, p.products_weight, products_length, products_width, products_height, products_ready_to_ship, p.products_date_added, p.products_last_modified, date_format(p.products_date_available, '%Y-%m-%d') as products_date_available, p.products_status, p.products_tax_class_id, p.manufacturers_id from products p, products_description pd where p.products_id = '241' and p.products_id = pd.products_id and pd.language_id = '1' [TEP STOP] Thank you!

    Low Stock Report v2.0

    I got this contrib installed and working great, but I would like for it to show CURRENT INVENTORY (not just low inventory). Does anyone know of a way to modify the existing contribution to get this to work? Or is there another contribution I should be looking at? Thanks a bunch!!
  4. USPS was working fine on our site for a long time then suddenly, it stopped working. The USPS heading would be there at the shipping confirmation page during checkout, but it wouldn't list any options such as Express Mail, Priority Mail, etc. So, we searched around and found this solution (thanks Jayman). Incase anyone runs into this problem, here's what we did to fix it. Basically, we just capitalized all of the letters for the shipping method as shown below: from $this->types = array('First Class'=> 'First-Class Mail (2-5 Days)', 'Priority' => 'Priority Mail (2 Days)', 'Express' => 'Express Mail'); if (MODULE_SHIPPING_USPS_PEONLY == 'True'){ $this->types = array('Express' => 'Express Mail', 'Priority' => 'Priority Mail') to $this->types = array('FIRST CLASS' => 'First-Class Mail (2-5 Days)', 'PRIORITY' => 'Priority Mail (2 Days)', 'EXPRESS' => 'Express Mail'); if (MODULE_SHIPPING_USPS_PEONLY == 'True'){ $this->types = array('EXPRESS' => 'Express Mail', 'PRIORITY' => 'Priority Mail') HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE IN THE FUTURE.

    I searched and read this thread over and over again for hours. Had you actually read my previous post #1119, you would have known that I already knew about the browser settings option (smart a55). I have thousands of customers ranging in age from 18 ~ 75, and I'm not going to ask all of them to change their browser settings, let alone help them figure it out when they complain. Especially just so they can see borders on their invoice. So again, is there another option or do I just get rid of the damn borders all together?

    To the creator(s) of this module, can you please explain why the borders on the invoice are all seperate .gif files? The ones I am referring to are the maingrey_ and mainwhite_ border images. The reason why I am asking is because they are not showing for most people when the invoice/packing slip is printed. Cant we technically just make the entire border (gif) image as a whole so that it prints? Just curious if that would work...

    Has anyone found a better solution for this problem instead of changing my browser settings to "print background?" I know its easy to do but I dont want to ask ALL of my customers to do this just to see the bars on their invoice. There's got to be another easier way. Thanks in advance for your help.

  11. Ok, so I was playing around with this and noticed that my session was probably timed out. When I tried it again after a fresh login, I got the successful message. HOWEVER, the recipient never got the email. Rhea, do you know why the recipient didn't get any email?
  12. I have CCGV installed and looks to be working great, however, when I do a test purchase of a GIFT_01 ($0.01 Gift Card) and go to send it, I get this error along the bottom of the page: Error! Unable to determine the page link! I have my search friendly URLS set to false, my gift voucher model number starts with GIFT_, the only other contrib. I installed is the Auth.net.     Good point. It was actually something really stupid so I didn't want to mention it but... my programmer forgot to upload the php files in the "order_totals" folder onto my server. After I uploaded the files (i believe they were gv_ot.php and one other) I saw it in my admin panel and all works excellent now. www.fliton.com/catalog/

    I had emailing issues too just like yourself until I did this. Your settings in the Admin panel are correct but the PHP.ini file needs to be changed. This is for WIN based servers only (as far as I know). First, confirm that you have a WIN based server by going to the Admin Panel > Tools > Server Info. Near the top, it should say Hosting OS: WINxx Now, look at your root folder on your ftp, where your Catalog folder is stored and download the php.ini file onto your desktop. Open it using notepad and on your keyboard press CTRL+F (Find) and search for [mail function] exactly how I typed it here. By default, it uses your hosting companies SMTP here but it should be your domain/emailing server written here. Before: [mail function] ; For Win32 only. SMTP=mail.hsphere.cc ; For Win32 only. sendmail_from=postmaster@hsphere.cc After: [mail function] ; For Win32 only. SMTP=mail.yourdomainhere.com ; For Win32 only. sendmail_from=postmaster@yourdomainhere.com After making the change, save the PHP.ini file and overwrite your PHP.ini file on your server by uploading it into the same root folder. After, test to see if you are getting emails by going to Admin Panel>Tools>Send Email. You should get an email after about 3-5 minutes. If not, try putting SMTP_PORT = 25 (directly underneath the SMTP=mail.yourdomainhere.com) The SMTP is not always going to be your email domain, but give it a shot...got mine to work. Goodluck
