  1. Our default currency is the USD
  2. We are seeing the same thing. Very often, our visitors report the price of $0. It started happening since we installed the contribution.
  3. Sorry, the contribution we are using is PayPal IPN v2.3.3. --- In some cases, the shopping cart does not get cleared on customer's return from PayPal. We can't determine a pattern but some customers, when they are sent back by PayPal to our web site, find their shopping cart still populated with all the items they purchased. I've seen others reporting the same problem on different forums, but there doesn't seem to be a solution. Any pointers? Thanks!

    [CONTRIBUTION] PDF Customer Invoice

Thanks Christian, I tried it, but it didn't work. It looks like that the OSCommerce may be looking for PayPal to authenticate when it tries to access the ipn.php file after I change it (maybe to access pdfinvoice.php). And the request gets forwarded to login.php... Any ideas?

    [CONTRIBUTION] PDF Customer Invoice

Hi All, First off - great contrib! I am having a bit of a problem running it with PayPal IPN v2.3.3 Payment module. It appears that Paypal IPN bypasses the checkout_process.php and therefore skips the point where the e-mail would usually be sent out. ipn.php looks like the right place to stick in the bit of code which would usually go into checkout_process.php, specificaly in place of line tep_mail($order->customer['name'], $order->customer['email_address'], EMAIL_TEXT_SUBJECT, nl2br($email_order), STORE_OWNER, STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS); however I have not been able to get the e-mail to work. Has anyone else been successful? Thanks!
  6. Hi There, I've spent several hours researching this topic, however I'm no further ahead (well maybe a tiny bit)... I'm running PayPal Website Payments Standard on osCommerce Online Merchant v2.2 RC2a. The module is running and working properly, and I am able to receive payments. However, I am not sure my PayPal settings are correct for this module. Specifically, under PayPal>Profile>Website Payment Preferences Auto Return is ON and the URL is http://www.xxxx.xxx/checkout_success.php - Do I need it for PWPS? Payment Data Transfer (optional) IS ON, followed by a Hex Token - Do I need it for PWPS? Under PayPal>Profile>Instant Payment Notification Preferences Instant Payment Notification (IPN) On Instant Payment Notification (IPN) URL: http://www.xxxxx.xxx/checkout_success.php Do I need it 'On' and is it pointing to the right URL (for PayPal Website Payments Standard Module) I should also say that about 15 minutes after each order, we get a hit to /ext/modules/payment/paypal/standard_ipn.php which results in another confirmation of the order being logged. From what I can tell, if the user returned to the web site from PayPal- there will be two confirmation entries on the order, and if they didn't... there will be only one. Any Help is appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Thanks Alex. Please forgive my ignorance, but I see a lot of posts from folks having problems with the PayPal IPN contribution as well. Is it more 'stable' than PWPS? Assuming you are referring to http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2679 which version is stable?
  8. Hi All, Has anyone attempted or successfully implemented 3-column product listing with SPPC? I tried deploying the 3-column product listing contribution, but there is a conflict with SPPC somewhere. It doesn't look like it's to difficult, but my PHP skill level (if it can be called that) is not very high. Thanks in advance!

Google XML Sitemap w/ Admin support

Jonatan, Your advice to Set "Use Search-Engine Safe URLs (still in development)" to true, is VERY VERY BAD. Changing this setting causes OSC to throw errors in various places, and worse these errors are not obvious. One of the errors is in the shopping cart and it prevents customers, unless they are technically savvy, from checking out. This setting SHOULD NOT be changed. It's "still in development" for a reson. And please do not tell folks to turn on this setting. Just look at the number of misconfigured OSC installations on-line... http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&saf...art=20&sa=N

    Dynamic SiteMap

Firstly, thank you for this great contribution. Really makes the life easier. Secondly, a quick request to add MS Live service. They do accept sitemaps, check out http://webmaster.live.com/. And finally a question regarding Dynamic SiteMap and Ultimate SEO URLs. Is it possible to have the Dynamic Sitemap generate Search-engine friendly URLs versus the current URL format (i.e. /product_info.php?products_id=29) ? Thanks again! Ivan
  11. Before I go ahead and do that, is there anything that can be done to 2.2.2e to make it "work". Uninstalling/reinstalling will probably be a bit more painful because I modified the install quite a bit since I installed USU 2.2.2e Out of curiosity why doesn't it work? (other than the "next page" problem) Thanks, Ivan
  12. Hi everyone, What a great contribution with tons of feedback from those involved - 139 pages :) However I have one fairly serious issue, and from what i read, a few other folks are having it as well. I just recently installed Ultimate SEO URLs 2.2.2e FIXED Full Package from Scratch and it works very well, BUT if my product listing contains more than 20 items, the "Next Page" link does not work properly. I can see from how the URL is formed, why it doesn't work properly, but not being a programmer I am not sure how to fix it. Can anyone help with instructions on how to fix the problem within this version of the package? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ivan
  13. Thanks Jesse. I will speak with the host, they've generally been responsive, let's see if they can fix it up. I'll post back with a follow up. Cheers, Ivan
  14. Here is what server info shows for cURL/OpenSSL: Curl cURL support enabled cURL Information libcurl/7.18.0 OpenSSL/0.9.8b zlib/1.2.3 libidn/0.6.5 And it is definitely the second step that is causing the problem. Hmm.... any ideas? Thanks!
  15. Thanks J. Got that far, but I still get: Failed check /../admin/includes/languages/english/ship_canadapost.php at line 17 This most likely means that Canada Post has changed their user interface. You need to update your Canada Post Automatic Shipping Labels module when I try to submit from the admin screen.

Thank you sir. I used the solution from the referenced post to strip the HTML and expanded the box to fit the full description... No idea why they use such a long description in the first place. Cheers.

    [CONTRIBUTION] PDF Customer Invoice

Canada post HTML/XML response causing problems. First off - great contrib. thank you very much. I just installed the PDF invoice admin mod on my modified OSC RC2 store and it works great other than one issue with formating. Canada Post contribution provides a fairly lengthy shipping description, which then overlaps all the 'totals' lines on the invoice. That and the <ACRONYM> tag isn't being processed properly. For example the shipping description looks liek: Canada Post [1 box(es) to be shipped]<br>Medium Box - 7.5(kg) (Expedited, <acronym title='Estimated Delivery Date'>EDD</acronym>: May 06, 2008): And my questions are: 1. Is it possible to eliminate the acronym tag and everything in between <acronym> and </acronym> 2. How could I trim the input text so it fits into the 25-40 character space Thanks again for the contribution and your help! Cheers
  18. Running into a bit of an issue with my install. Running the provided ship_canadapost.php file I get an error message on top of the screen. Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in /../admin/includes/languages/english/ship_canadapost.php on line 75 I try to process the shippment anyway, but I get back two error messages under "Initialized" : --- Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in /home2/epipccom/public_html/pueblito.ca/admin/includes/languages/english/ship_canadapost.php on line 75 Step 1. Initialized. Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in /home2/epipccom/public_html/pueblito.ca/admin/includes/languages/english/ship_canadapost.php on line 75 Step 2. Error: Failed check in /home2/epipccom/public_html/pueblito.ca/admin/includes/languages/english/ship_canadapost.php at line 17. This most likely means that Canada Post has changed their user interface. You need to update your Canada Post Automatic Shipping Labels module. --- so I remove the '\' character on line 75 and try to process the order, but I still get the following error message on the right hand side underneath "initialized". Failed check /../admin/includes/languages/english/ship_canadapost.php at line 17 This most likely means that Canada Post has changed their user interface. You need to update your Canada Post Automatic Shipping Labels module If anyone can help I'd be very grateful. Cheers
