Hi guys, An update on the issue on nothing from my paypal ipn. I have tested with other server from another web hosting provider, it works perfectly well. Obviously the problem is the setting on the server, which has blocked the message from paypal. Until now the provider is still not able to tell me why it happened and i have moved to another host. Thanks for all the help.

Just a quick question while i am doing the tests mentioned. If i am not getting anything with "mail('[email protected]', 'testing paypal', 'paypal has found the file');" at the top of my ipn.php, why am i looking beyond this point? Assume that paypal has sent out the data, it is obvious that there's something not right that the data is not reaching my ipn.php. Correct me if i am wrong.

Hi Terra, I did not switched on the IPN. I do not have SSL, it's a shared hosting, with PHP 4.3.2. I added in the mail(....) as mentioned, and still getting nothing. But if i type the full URL of www.xxx.com/ext/modules/payment/paypal_ipn/ipn.php, "mail('[email protected]', 'testing paypal', 'paypal has found the file');" works. Is it my paypal problem?

1) I did not received any error message on the issue of register globals. and for 2 and 3 This is the reply from my hosting provider. 2) The port for PHP is: 80 and if you have an SSL certificate on a dedicated IP then you can use port: 443 3) We don't use any proxy server or have any. Is there any where else that i need to check on? Thank you.

Oh sorry Terra, I got mixed up with my testing with the default credit card module. You are right, the stock level was not update as well. so how should i go about with the troubleshooting? I can see all the order in the order history. i am really lost now.... :(

Does anyone know why the email was not sent out? Did i miss out any setting? Please help.........

I have just installed "osCommerce PayPal IPN Module v2.2 For 2.2MS2" into my store which have not been modified before. Everything is good, data is updated into database after purchase was done. Except email was not sent out to customer. I tried the original Credit card payment module that came with the program and it works well. Can someone help me in gettting email to be sent out to customer?

When i try the code into the paypal module contribution, it didn'y work.
