i "think" my isp finally fixed this fingers crossed anyway I basically told them that it works flawlessly for everyone except well ME ...

is there anything in the checkout_shipping.php file that could cause a random file cannot be displayed error after an attempt to get rates from the post office? my isp is saying it has to be in the code. i dont understand how everyone else can use it if that is so.. sigh any help would be appriecciatted this is becomeing a nightmare /

ahh just curious how do you set your shipping prices?

ahh doesnt look like theres much thats different but my compare/merge program wants to overwrite some of the mvs code wich i assume would be a bad thing.. god wish i knew wth more of that code meant lol

anyone know if there is a line of code missing from the add-on to mvs Individual Shipping i installed it and it all seems fine except it doenst add a field to the product entry

anyone know if there is any way other than using fsocket to get the information from the post office? netfirms doesnt support it / the ups xml works fine though anyone know how it tranfers information?

hmm according to netfirms they do not offer fsocket....anyone have a suggestion for a decent host?

still a loop in the usps module /

i had to edit vendor_order_data and vendor_order_info still trying to figure the usps thing database looked ok but i'll try deleteing and reinstalling the module

yea i did get the error and fixed it by changeing the stuff you had me change earlier no ideas why i end up in an endless loop with the usps mod ? that ones bugging me

this is back in the latest release btw along with the other string i you had me replace seems this file was reverted to an old one. I got it fixed but just figured you should know..

its me again!! i did those changes and now it is sending me into an infinite loop opening hundreds of untitled windows in my browser <useing firefox so it opens tabs> if i disable the usps module all goes smoothly..

alright did a fresh install and double checked the database the MODULE_SHIPPING_USPS_RATES_ZONE_1 is in it but i still get the same error :/ any ideas before i toss my pc in the lake :P

doing a fresh install again for some reason i ended up with 2 use vendor shipping and 2 of each of the email fields not sure if that was the problem but it just stinks of corruption and as soon as i get this running i am making 5 backups on each of my pc's lol

is there a sql that i am suppose to run with the usps package? i cant find it in the lastest package.. or is this a field thats suppose to be installed when you install os commerce?

I found out where its suppose to be assigning the value now i just have to figure out if i am actually getting that value

in reference to this error i have found the following and since i am so new at this I really am uncertain of what i am thinking is right or not $responsedoc = new DomDocument($body); that is line 506 what i believe it is doing and please correct me if i am wrong is assigning $responsedoc to be a new domdocument...now $body should according to the manual be passing a version,encoding value and I cant find anywhere in this document where $body gets that value. i'm sure i am missing something and I hope you dont mind but honestly untill i figure out the logic i'm not gonna sleep much heh thanks again for all future and former help you guys are great most people woulda shoved me in the closet by now

need to make the change in vendor_order_data as well but works like a charm so far.. now if only the gremlins would remove themselves from any of the shipping options that require to update via a server.. i'm sure theres a conection and a clue i just need to figure it out.. and no columbo am I
