PayPal WPP Direct Payments & Express Checkout Support

 Just to let others know the solutiohn to the credit card details not clearing upon error, this is in fact due to the Fast Easy Checkout (FEC) contrib i have installed, and to fix you simply need to modify your checkout_confirmation.php and add the following lines after require('includes/application_top.php'); tep_session_unregister('paypalwpp_cc_number'); tep_session_unregister('paypalwpp_cc_expires_month'); tep_session_unregister('paypalwpp_cc_expires_year'); tep_session_unregister('paypalwpp_cc_checkcode'); tep_session_unregister('paypalwpp_cc_start_month'); tep_session_unregister('paypalwpp_cc_start_year'); tep_session_unregister('paypalwpp_cc_issue_number'); tep_session_unregister('paypalwpp_cc_firstname'); tep_session_unregister('paypalwpp_cc_lastname'); And hey presto all is working... Aswel I am still using this version in the UK with no problems for the time being.... Thanks Bob

PayPal WPP Direct Payments & Express Checkout Support

Hi, Thanks for the contrib, seems to work well with my store & FEC. However i have one problem, if you can point me in the right direction. Upon entering credit card details, if i fail to get them right the first time, i am presented with the error and the option to set the correct details, however no matter what i do it's still using the original details instead of the new ones. So i presume something somewhere isnt getting reset. This is probably due to the FEC installation, but im pretty sure ive set everything correctly, it does actually work ok if i get the details right first time. But i can image many users not doing this :'( Any help would be appreciated, i have had a quick search and cannot find anything. Bob
  3. Hi, I recently installed this contrib version 1.13.. and I have had only one problem... The Reciprocal link checker was not working, after an hour of investigating i remembered i had set allow_url_fopen = off in php.ini (This was the problem  ) I cannot use this option so the CheckURL() functions used within the contrib failed, so with my little knowledge of php i decided to have a go at converting the CheckURL() functions to use CURL if enabled instead which is enabled in my php.ini This is now working great and I have also made it backwards compatible so if this is of any use to anyone let me know and i will upload it. Thanks for the original contrib! Regards Bob Hewick

    fast easy checkout

Great Contrib, works a treat. I only had one problem that I couldn't find an answer to, but i have solved it and thought i would share, so here it is: - Get New Total on checkout_shipping was showing ? instead of the ? but worked on other currencies. Edit the ? currency in admin and set symbol to html £ and it worked. Obviously there was a problem with ? symbol messing with the code. Thanks Bob
  5. Hi, I came across the problem of exceeding this limit quite easy, my site has 500+ categories... and within a few clicks of categories it bombed out (TEP STOP). So i increased the field size to 1024 and so far have had no problems, i must say its proving a nice add on. thanks for your work. Could i also say that is it possible that if an error is hit, it carries on working??. As originally i wasnt aware of the categories limitation and took me a few days to figure out what was going wrong. in the mean time the webpage was semi-unusable. Bob
