1. hello... a few questions regarding easy populate... firstly, which is the latest most stable version of easy populate to download?? There are about a million versions with small mods here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,500 can anyone tell me which one is the latest version, not beta, stable to use?? Also, this is 50% an easy populate question and50% an oscommerce philosophy question, but can a product belong to more than one category at a time?? and if so, how could I indicate this on an easy populate CSV file for uploading... thanks for your help as ever!! hope this is the right place for these questions, somehow couldn't post to the easypopulate thread...
2. Hello everyone, question for you about a requested feature: my client is a nutritional supplements store. A few of their products require a consultation before the user can purchase it. So, I need to make sure that for some products, when the user hits add to cart, before they are allowed to actually add this item, they go to an intermediate page which says "you need to have a consultation, please enter in your consultation password" This intermediate page can be the product info page, where I could put a consultation blurb and password or it can be its own page. Now how to intercept the ADD TO CART button?? I looked in the contributions section, but couldn't find anything suitable. I'm willing to write this myself, but I'm a little confused as to how to do this. Do you have any advice or opinions for me? It looks like the actual "add to cart" logic is in application_top; but I would prefer just to edit product_info and stick all my changes and the password box in there... Any advise at this stage would be greatfully accepted CHEERS!!1
3. thank you enigma1 ! I tried your work-around, but it didn't resolve the problem. Does anyone else have any suggestions, I see other people have this issue in the forum also, it seems like a pretty large gaping bug.... I'm just not clear how to deal with this and would appreciate your expert advice and thoughts.. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...redit+card+4388
4. Hello everyone! I have recently started using oscommerce with authorize.net and I'm running into some difficulty with accepting credit card payments. I'm testing the credit cards with my own credit card, beginning with 4388. I put in the right credit card number, and expiry date and I'm getting the following error: The first four digits of the number entered are: 4388
If that number is correct, we do not accept that type of credit card.
If it is wrong, please try again Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? It looks like it is not even getting to authorize.net to authorize the credit card -- it is just rejecting it upfront. There is a bug report on this here: but I can't see what the resolution is, except for the fact that the bug has been closed. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/bugs,1609 I'm not clear what my oscommerce version is, except that it says copyright 2005 at the bottom, so presumably version 2005:-) Thanks in advance For all your help,
