  1. Hi all I'm prepared to work on a contribution to address this requirement if no solution exists. Fiscus, I assume you need functionality similar to that displayed here: http://www.teesforless.com/cgi-bin/style.pl?stylenum=3000 If you select color Black, the list of available sizes will change from say, brown. Any ideas/direction would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. Hi - I am revisting this issue and am prepared to write a contribution to fulfill this requirement. It doesn't seem to be handled by any of the other contribs, but I'd be thrilled to be proven wrong... Any input? Thanks
  3. Your're right that you can set it up to select only certain attributes for certain products, however for me, the objective is to select different "sub-attributes" after a first attribute is selected. For example, for a certain style, if the buyer selects color white, the dropdown list for size should contain S, M, L, XL. If user selects color brown (a less popular color), then the size dropdown list should contain only Medium. Note that it's not feasible to join/concatenate color and size for an exhastive list of color-size combinations, since this will make the list too long. I know that Deborah is away. Can anyone else answer authoritatively if this dependent/related attributes functionality either exists or is being worked on? If not, then I'm prepared to code it using DHTML/javascript within the PHP.
  4. I also am working on selling tshirts. Different styles are available in different colors and sizes. For example, a basic tshirt may be available in color white may be available in S, M, L, XL, but brown only in Medium As a result, the attrubutes functionality offered in OSC is insufficient, since the dropdowns present all possible attribute values. I would like the ability to list attribute 2 values based on the selected value of attribute 1. Is anyone doing this already?
  5. Any update on this? If not, I might be able to do some work on this. I have logic in place on another non-osc site to do just this: www.teesforless.com But being new to OS Commerce, I need some guidelines.
