in version r197 there was cache_system>sqlite>usu_cache.db File usu_cache.db is not present in version r205....is that normal?

Hi Robert I have 2 questions: Like poster above I am unclear if images/.htaccess should be edited seeing as the code already in place looks very similar? what other directories do you suggest should have those edits? I use v2.3.1 Can both File Safe and SiteMonitor be used on the same shop?

RObert is it ok to manually empty the cache folder before resetting the cache in admin? I ask because when I reset the cache the old files don't get deleted and the folder keeps getting bigger with hundreds of cache files. Same thing with KISSMT.

Hi Robert I'm still having the problem where single quotes (apostrophes) get stripped from the meta data. For now I have circumvented the problem by using an acute accent as an apostrophe, ie: what´s, but was wondering if there was a way not to strip single quotes? Your help on this one would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your great work and terrific contributions. Isabella

Thinking that this may be related to a problem described in an earlier post I applied the changes described in this post, namely edit line 134 of catalog/includes/kiss_meta_tags/abstracts/kiss_modules.php, change it to array_walk( $words_as_array, array( $this, 'stripStopWords' ) ); or change line 280 to private static function stripStopWords( &$word ) { but none of these fixes solve my single quote problem. :(

Thank you, that fixed the image issue, but it created another problem: when browsing a foreign language, if I click on any page which is not a product or a category, the language reverts back to English automatically. For example what should be http://www.site.com/conditions.php/fr,'>http://www.site.com/conditions.php/fr, loses the /fr and becomes http://www.site.com/conditions.php thus loading the default language which is English.

I have a multilanguage site and cannot view pictures on any language except english....an error message says: "the requested content cannot be loaded" The browser tries to open http://www.site.com/images/image.jpg/fr'>http://www.site.com/images/image.jpg/fr when the image path is http://www.site.com/images/image.jpg How can I correct this issue please? I'm sorry to bother you again but Robert if you could shed some light I'd be grateful: Can KissMt deal with special characters? When I write titles in foreign languages and use for example "é", on the site page the title reads "é" which is fine, but in the source it reads "é" .......this way I am worried search engines will index texts containing "é" rather than the correct letter. Please can you help?

Is this normal: when changing language the first link of say, French, reads: ****http://www.mysite.com/fr/myfrenchproduct-p-176.html?language=fr***** Is the appended "?language=fr" normal? it only happens on the first page after changing languages, on the following pages it disappears.

I too was talking about your package (which I did upload). Anyway I found where the problem was: I was unzipping the package with winzip, and with that some directories were missing. Tried unzipping with 7zip, and it's all there.

I promise you I'm looking....inside cache_system directory I have: file.php, memcache.php, mysql.php, sqlite.php, but no cache or sqlite directory. Those are missing.

I have followed your instructions by the numbers, tried both on live site and localhost and still get the same outcome. I have uploaded all the files in the uploads directory, so I now have catalog>includes>modules>ultimate_seo_urls5 with all its subdirectories, but when you say: I do not have either the cache directory nor the sqlite directory inside the cache_system directory. This is the error on my localhost index page: (the same thing happened on my live site) I really don't know what I'm doing wrong.
