    Paypal Standard Payments Failing

Thanks Martin, that fixed it for my customer's site. @saxcbr @Cary @cdetdi @Mac Fly please try copying the above file into your shops. You can then try resending an IPN from your Paypal account (finding it is tortuous): log in to PP, hit cog > Account settings scroll down to website payments on left menu choose Update next to Instant Payment Notifications in the middle of the first line of text, hit the link IPN History page This shows you a list of IPNs, defaulting to the last 24 hours - change the period if necessary and select one to resend [fingers crossed]

@ecartz it already is - that is the one from core; I have checked since. The failing sites are using an older cert that doesn't have the root and intermediate certs in.

    Phoenix certified addon

Hi all!! The idea of this post is to make it easier for new users who want to migrate to Phoenix 1.0.4.0, a list of addons available for free in the market, so that users can evaluate whether it is convenient for them to make a migration to Phoenix or continue in Frozen (which is stable and already has all the addons that an average user needs). I will list all the certified (by me) addons that are available. You can all publish the addons that you tried and are available in the market. Its prohibited : - Request support (for this you must go to the creator of the addon or the corresponding support page) - Mention addons that are not in the market The format for posting would be: Addon Name Link in the market Phoenix version that is certified to work Brief description of what that addon does Remember that the spirit of OSC is to share. love and peace Valqui

JcM Header Basket V1.0 Phoenix This is a simple add-on to display your basket in the header section. It behaves the same as the stock navbar cart apart from the image which is red if car is empty but turns green when something is placed in the cart and it show the total in the cart as it changes. Simple cart images are provided but you can replace these with your own as required. It requires NO core changes so just copy over the files provided. Once it’s installed simply go to admin and install and turn on. Aditional basket images have been provided so change if needed or use your own. You can also use a ff icon if you wish, just go to the language file and you will see code for " fas fa-shopping-basket" just commet (//) out the image lines and uncomment the ones you need. Has only been tested on Phoenix 1.0.4.0 That’s is Enjoy.. As always can be seen working on the normal sites. Can be see working on this site

looking for add-on to use cache

People have to learn to accept that not even Phoenix is standing still any longer. Oscommerce did that for many years and before forward movement it was considered a laughing stock and dead in the water. With Garys input and the help of those that want to see it advance, everyone is getting a better code base. Addons can now be installed in a few clicks rather than a whole lot of manual code changes. Updating the store code is again very simple, and takes a few minutes. If you want old and outdated use an old and outdated version. Stop thinking what was, and start thinking what could be.

I know that everyone appreciates my positive contributions to the community. That is why I decided to help all members of the community to know what are the great benefits that Phoenix has, publishing which addons are on the market and certified them. Now, I am amazed that when I ask the moderators to intervene to leave this post clean with the rules that I defined, they do nothing about it. But to apply censorship they appear immediately. For positive things they do not interact. To censor they always appear immediately. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, now we all see how things work ... I thank yoy all for your contributions on my post, but I want to keep it clean according to the rules mentioned above. You are all free to try new addons and certify them publicly in this post according to the format requested above. Love Valqui

    Phoenix certified addon

Hello Mark. Frozen, and then Phoenix, these are the children of OsCommerce. OsCommerce is an Open Source project that was created almost 20 years ago and is supported by the community. Phoenix is an open source product under the appropriate license. For Version 1.0.4.0 You can easily adapt a large number of old add-ons. Version 1.0.5.0 is harder to do. In version 1.0.5.1, this is almost impossible. This will require a lot of serious work. This is due to a very smart and global change in the kernel code. This is a great job that @burt and @ecartz did. This is a global OsCommerce update. Many thanks to these people for their great work! Certified add-ons in the public are an additional advertising and promotion mechanism for Phoenix for many users.

    Phoenix certified addon

Hi Mark @mfleeson, The idea of my post is to have a list of certified addons and not to be a place to exchange ideas. I will create another post for that purpose. It would be very good if you can add to the list the addons that you test and can certify that they work correctly with the version of Phoenix that is the one that was tested. Regarding your other queries: As I am discriminated against accessing the Phoenix club, I have no way of updating from version 1.0.4.0 to 1.0.5.0. Unfortunately, this information is not available in the forum. Therefore I am testing the addons in 1.0.4.0 and I did not have time to test them in 1.0.5.0 or the next versions that may appear. It would be great if you can help me and test them and publish your results. It is my way of helping the Phoenix project (although I am not welcome in it). I have no commercial interest (as others have) I just want to help new users to see what addon listings exist in the market. All this information is public. I'm just ordering it for the benefit of the community.

Great idea. This should help users searching for an addon. I don't know if it is possible or not but a vote option with all of the posted addons would be nice. Then people that use them can vote on them as to whether they work well or not. Just a thought. .

We're extremely proud to announce the next osCommerce Online Merchant release series is rolling out now starting with the beta release of v2.4.0 Joli! This is a developers release that has a rapid weekly release schedule to finalize the framework API and to build on to the v2.x series with quality production ready releases. v2.4.0 Joli Beta includes the community led effort by Gary Burton to modernize the frontend with a responsive Bootstrap template called Sail. This not only aims to improve the customer experience on the site frontend to encourage and improve sales, but also on the site backend with a more user intuitive interface to work with the business side of sales. The OSC\OM framework that was introduced in the v3.0 developer series has been backported and invites developers to start migrating their add-ons to the new self-contained App infrastructure that not only allows for more secure and easier installations of third-party software, but also online installations and updates through the Administration Dashboard (coming in a later beta release). This involves a tight integration into our new App Marketplace that will be launched in the near future. v2.4.0 will be the only public release of the v2.4 beta series - all weekly updates during the beta phase will be delivered through the online update feature to get the online update feature tested on as many server configurations as possible. There are still a lot of changes planned during the beta phase that will break the framework API and is the reason for the beta release series. All changes between releases will be documented to keep developers up-to-date and to help them finalize their Apps for the production ready release. We're committed to Open Source and are continuing our goal of moving from the GPL license to the MIT license. This is the first release in the v2.x series to be completely licensed under the MIT license. osCommerce Online Merchant v2.4.0 Joli Beta can be downloaded at: https://www.oscommerce.com/Products The PayPal for osCommerce Online Merchant App is bundled with this release. The Braintree for osCommerce Online Merchant App can be downloaded separately at: https://apps.oscommerce.com/?Download&paypal&Braintree&2_4_0 It will be possible to install and upgrade Apps directly in the Administration Dashboard in an upcoming beta release. Documentation for this release series is available at: https://library.oscommerce.com/Online&oscom_2_4 Discussions on this release series can be found at: http://forums.oscommerce.com Known issues and bug fixes can be found at: https://github.com/osCommerce/oscommerce2/issues An online demonstration of v2.4.0 Joli Beta can be found at: https://demo.oscommerce.shop/24/ We’d like to thank the community for helping us out with the development of this release and for their continued dedication and support, and especially thank Joli for the good times he shared with all of us in the community. This release series is dedicated to you pal, you will always be remembered.
