Product Description won't show unless Option applied

Hi All,

 

Having a bit of bother.

 

Discovered that after a change was made (yeah no idea what one) my product descriptions will not longer show. UNLESS I add a product option, such as multiple shirt sizes.

 

It seems that if there is no options applied to the product, not only does the option selections not display, neither does the product description. Everything else is there normally (pictures, price, names, etc)

 

Here is the code from my product_ino.php file where I suspect the problem lies. Sorry it is so messy, I have been trying to fix this all morning...:
