PayPal App for osCommerce Online Merchant

This is the latest time that an order can be created and is typically after the payment has been taken. I do recall working with a payment module that doesn't go off-site for the payment until the before_process in checkout_process and executes its after_process on a callback. This does allow you to postpone allocating an order id until the order is confirmed. However, modules that offer an express checkout - paypal expresss and amazon pay for example - must allocate the reference number at the beginning of checkout.

    SSL duplicate domain

Having the http and https server versions in the config dates back to a time when sites would only use ssl for some pages - account and checkout and not the whole thing. Nowadays you probably want ssl across the whole site so set them both to https

    HoneyPot Captcha

Still getting this problem. I also have the issue that the maths captcha stops everybody, even legit sign ups, getting through create account. Switch it off and all is well.

PayPal App for osCommerce Online Merchant

I have done the same thing on my 2.2 site, and now need to rewrite phoenix to do the same yes I occasionally have to go into the database to delete declined orders but but I have to pass an order # to my payment processor. to me it makes sense to assign the order number the moment checkout_process.php is loaded
  7. As long as you got it working ....

    SSL duplicate domain

I'm an idiot - I was missing the : after https: define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https//' . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']); The 'solution' to set the https version of the site as http is a hack in my opinion, regardless if many here on the forum have used this to fix the issue. If you're using this approach then I would fix the real cause of the issue instead of that work-around - just my two cents worth though!
  9. As I understand it, if there are http:// links in your shop, you want them to actually to be processed as https://, hence the need to have both in your config file(s). Do a search in the forum. There are many threads here stating this exact same 'fix'. M (also, line 8 in the admin config file)

    SSL duplicate domain

Are you sure about that? Why would the http url be https? That seems like a hack to make it work, it doesn't make any difference here. The example configure.php: define('HTTP_SERVER', ''); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('HTTPS_SERVER', ''); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

    SSL duplicate domain

A quick update: upon further inspection I discovered that the images look as if they have the correct url: <img src="images/foobar.jpg ...../> However the console shows the url with the double domain as pointed out in my original post. If I inspect the DOM and add the leading slash the image appear. When I debug the code I can see that the url of the image is set by concatenating the params which the tep_image function requires: tep_image('images/', ..... Therefore out of the box the url of the image is correct. If I switch to the http version the url is the same and it works. This is very weird!

  13. @spacebiscuit75 You need to change the http:// to https:// in the first two lines in both config files. M
  14. I have enabled SSL on my site and now all images are broken, when I view the console of the browser the urls are of the format: https://mydomain.com/https://mydomain.com/image.jpg The domain is duplicated. My configure.php is as follows: define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://' . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']); define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'http://' . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']); define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']); define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', dirname($_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME']) . '/'); define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/'); define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/'); define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/******/'); /* db congig here */ define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/'); define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/'); define('FONT_PATH', DIR_FS_ADMIN); define('DIR_WS_ICONS', 'images/icons/'); Similarly for the admin config define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://' . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']); define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://' . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']); define('ENABLE_SSL', true); define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']); define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/'); define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://' . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']); define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://' . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']); define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'false'); define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']); define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/****/'); define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/****/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/1eiow3j4rj4ioj3iodjewghjfq1/'); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/'); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'includes/languages/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/includes/languages/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES', $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/images/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_MODULES', $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/includes/modules/'); define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . 'backups/'); define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/'); define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/'); I had a similar problem for a js includes which had the issue until I put a trailing slash in front, so I guess the clue is in this? Any ideas?

    HoneyPot Captcha

Others are not having this problem so I don't know what it might be. Be sure you have tried the things mentioned previously for the problem. A new version will be released soon that may work better for you so you might want to wait on it.
  16. Hello forum, I am looking for some advice. We are using UPS XML Rates v1.6.1 for osCommerce 2.3.4 for osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4.1 CE frozen. We would like to add FedEx as a shipping choice. Could someone using a working shipping module that will work for our situation let us know what to use for our version of OSCommerce. TY

    HoneyPot Captcha

I've used this module for a few weeks now and it's solved 99% of our Contact Us spam. I just installed the last few upgrades and everything works except after some trial and error it seems the Create Account Check will not operate while the Math Captcha is enabled and vice versa. When they're both enabled the error report I get e-mailed back from honey pot says " 11-19-2019: Denided due to captcah " I noticed someone was having the same error a few pages back but it was never solved. Might be another piece to their puzzle. I would like them both to operate at the same time because I think they would weed out most of the fake accounts I'm getting. I am using OSC 2.3.4 Any ideas? Thanks
  18. Hi @Tsimi Great addon. Any chance for an update to Phoenix 1.0.3.0. And maybe campatible to work with the points and rewards addon from Raiwa.
  19. If you are able to manage without a fully integrated solution then PayPal allows you to simply place a subscriptions and recurring payments button on any page you like.
  20. I haven't but I am probably going to be looking into something similar in the near future.
  21. Hi there. I am wondering if there is a module for recurring payments for subscriptions, restricted areas etc. There looks like there is a module from 2008 for PayPal recurring payments, but I definitely don't want to go that far back because of the debugging challenge and because I am concerned it will be obsolete from the PayPal standpoint. Outside of the world of completed contributions, I am wondering if any others have implemented a system for monthly subscriptions controlling access to certain content pages within the oscommerce framework and how it was accomplished. Thanks!
  22. Uploaded update 3.0.1: Points and Rewards Phoenix Version 3.0.1. - Fix for shipping tax to be included in points calculation. Thanks to @MITCH70 for the report - Added note for content module call if already present in checkout_payment.php

  27. JcM Manufacturers QR code V1.0 Phoenix This is a simple add-on it will allow you to Place a Manufacturers QR code image on each product page. It requires NO core changes so just copy over the files provided. Once it’s installed simply go to admin and install and turn on. You can change the styling in admin it uses stock BS Class’s. You can also select the placing of the text within the container it’s added to. That’s it enjoy. It has only been tested on Phoenix 1.0.3.0 only. Can be seen working on this custom test site
