Hmmm I’ve been gradually working through, it does seem a lot more stable now but I’ve still yet to go live. So far core stuff seems to work but there are bugs. Most things seem to get fixed and there are many more features than before, but yes I share some frustration too. I’ve been told that Upsell/Crossell module was possibly included/free to start with (database entries etc.), but is now not. If using cleaner can just delete apps that were free, the question is could this happen to all apps? Lorraine

It turns out it is just another broken script in the graveyard of many broken and dead scripts littering the internet.

We downloaded oscommerce, installed it, purchased some add-ons. Sent messages to support, in email and on Facebook to Vadym with no answers multiple times on multiple days. Never had one single answer. While other "die hard fans" may disagree, we shouldn't have to wait for admin approval to get purchases we have made for this script and as well, it seems like when they took over this program from the original owners they were excited and working hard and then... they just got tired of it and left. I make this as a general statement to anyone looking forward to using this as a shopping cart, or possible purchasing items from the app shop.

I have 2 installs of oscommerce running on different domains. Only 1 is getting this error and it is relatively new: It occurs almost anytime within the backed I use a search function. I confirmed with with my hosting company nothing was changed and feel it is within oscommerce. I see that somone else had a similar error and "added zip to php" to fix the error, but I am not understaning this resolution.

You can download the authorize.net and paypal app addons here. Depending on the version of your shop and what version in on that site, they should work. You may also mention to your client that upgrading to V4 might be a better alternative. You can contact me if you want a quote or either of these.

I'm working with a merchant who's website was set up a very long time ago, and we're trying to get an updated payment gateway integrated. We were hoping to use the Authorize.net App, but it specifies osCommerce version 4.0 or newer. The merchant is currently on version 2.0, and no longer has a dedicated web developer or the means to make any large updates to his website's structure. Is it possible to still get apps for the version he is using?
