Mapping import

This is the first release of of mapping importation in oscommerce.

He is very easily to instal and if you want for example to import a prestashop database inside oscommerce, it's possible.

This topic is created to improve this module.

you can find this module here if you want to test

Note : you must becarefull with the language id, for the moment the language id must be the same oscommerce database and the import files.

i received an email with an market analysis on the ecommerce software use.

He is in french (http://www.journaldunet.com/solutions/saas-logiciel/parts-de-marche-logiciels-e-commerce-octobre-2012-1112.shtml)

In summary :
35 218  e-commerce sites identified on the million of  the website  the more visited in the world
23%  Magento,
12,9%  Zen Cart,
10,4%  VirtueMart,
8,2%  osCommerce (-0.7 on one year)
7,4%  PrestaShop (+1.7 on one year)

but

On the s 100 000 sites web the most vistied : the analyse idenfied 1623 ecommerce website

24,8% Magento,
11,2%  IBM Websphere,
8%  ATG,
5,2%  Zen Cart and VirtueMart
5,1% pour osCommerce,
5% pour Actinic
4,4% pour Demandware
3,3% pour Yahoo! Stores

it's amazing, prestashop is not in the top.

Oscommerce after 11 year is again the top !

Automatic Currency adjustment by continent

A new contribution with a web service who adjust automaticly the currencies in function the country.
If you default currency is CAD and your configuration has EUR, then the customer come from Europe see automaticly the EUR

By default :
All Europe : EUR
North America : USD (United States) and CAD (Canada)
Default : your default currency

you can use the webservice until 100 000 resquest by day

Do you have experience with that ?

I discovered this service for a free cdn. Someone use this service ? What do you think ?
