Security Directory Permissions Warning:


unlink(C:\Inetpub\vhosts\.co.uk\httpdocs\admin\backups\osc224E.tmp) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\.co.uk\httpdocs\admin\includes\functions\general.php on line 1456

New windows install - everything else seems ok except message(s) linke above.

Can anyone help please?

Jeff, where are all of these osc224E.tmp files coming from ?  the .tmp extension is an invalid file type for that sub-directory.  DO NOT store your temp files in the osCommerce directories.

I am new to this and I am not sure how these temp files are being generated - i just did a standard OS install and it all went ok - all the .tmp are being put into the c:\windows\temp  folder - and I have no idea how to stop this happening.
Why are .tmp files being generated anway?

There are about 9 entries when I run Security Directory Permissions from Tools >

they all include this as part of the line      Permission denied in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\.co.uk\httpdocs\admin\includes\functions\general.php on line 1456
