Hello,
I have started facing an unusual problem off lately. Sometimes when I select to edit a product, the html tags in the product description vanish. I also tried installing CKEditor. But even after installing it, the html tags just vanish. Someone please help!!!

With WYSIWYG editors, you don't usually see the tags but they are present.  How does the description look on the catalog side once you insert the product ?

Yes, I understand. Let me explain it again, I did not explain it properly. Once I have added a product to the catalog, then it displays ok. But when the product is edited, the FORMATTING vanishes. Even with CK Editor. Everything comes in a single continuous line.
I am unable to figure out the problem.

I checked the database, it is not writing the tags to the database. It is filtering the tags while writing to the database...
