suggested to me was to have a way that a customer can reorder their original order again if they wanted to.

no addon or option for that? i see one that is really old and dated here http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/3407

anything newer or is it a option in osc somewhere? thanks

@GoTTi

That's the only one.  Just update it for use with v2.3.1 (pay special attention to the database queries)

Does anyone have a link (or info) on what needs to be done to a 2.2 add-on to make it work for a 2.3.1 site?  I don't know why but I haven't been able to find any info on doing this, but I am sure its got to be on here somewhere.

As is no, most likely would need a few updates to be done to it first...

You have to learn sometime......or you have to hire a developer to do it for you.

It will probably require some small mods. Learn how to do it.  Then you can give something back to the comunity.
REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
I am not a coder, so dont bother sending PMs asking for help as you wont get any.

OSC has a steep learning curve, but in general the program does work.  If it doesnt work, the chances are it is something you have done.

Hi All..

Commercial support providers can be found here:

http://www.oscommerce.com/partners/corporate/list,developers

The forum is for public discussions where members help one another out, including guests reading the discussion.

A job board is planned where enquiries can be published (for a low fee).

Kind regards,

lets try to stay focused on that

For you to update a contribution to be compatible with v2.3.1, you will need to know about v2.2 RC2a.  The main differences are the changes to template_top.php, template_bottom.php and the removal of the column_left.php and column_right.php files in v2.3.1
