Hi you all...

I'm building an osC. store for a client and we found a great looking store in the Showcases stores that my client likes ( This one here) and now I'm trying to find a template that looks like that one or maybe build my own template, but now a have a few Q's regarding building templates... I really hope you can help me here.   ;)

1: Is it worth while building my own template, and is it hard?

2: Is there any tutorial or guide anywhere to assist here?

3: Is it easy to integrate a new template into osC.?

What are your experiences...?

Thanks for your help.

There are 2 different aspects you have to consider: the look AND the functionality included in the sample you mention. So it's not just a template question.

Also, the meaning of a "template" here is a different as, lets say, in joomla. You need to build up the store from the beginning taking care of the look and the functionality. Most of the solutions you will need are available as contributions

If it's worth? Depends on what you charge :)

The reference is for 2.2; do you have anything for 3.0? I had a nicely customized 2.2 but am having difficulty replicating in 3.0.

Thanks,
