User cannot login in ie8

To front end or admin ?

Admin Login and Font end Login works fine for me using IE8 on top of Win7 64bit..


We have occasionally found javascript/browesr bugs running IE8 or IE7 on different platforms, we had a weird javascript bug on IE7, but only on Vista.. it was fine on XP and Win7..

Does anyone still have this issue?

I have just installed a quick store without problems and Google Chrome logs in fine but IE 8 on both a vista and 7 will not login.

Any ideas?

I think the best to do debug step by step in rows (use print("here I am"); ) in login.php file.

Same here
Chrome, firefox and safari work fine

IE8 cant log user in
can make the account fine but the login.php page lands straight back at login.php and cart contents disapear

I think session change for new one (or lost forever) after login process so you lost shopping control too. In this case you never will be login. Maybe help to change login.php to the old rc2.2a login.php but this is not wanted.

This is a new install 2.3.1 on IE8 that im having problems with (tried on windows 7, Vista and XP)

2.2 shops are fine

When I set security to high level in IE8 this dialog page will popup. If I take a Not show again this message dialog box never will be pop up.

I had got problem some years before, because this popup page never displayed and I couldn't send data to internet zone. In this reason you never will be post data. I've never got the reason how can display again this popup in personal settings.

I make a transle but this is not the best one surely about popup text.

Others may see the data possibly, when into this zone (internet) sends information.
Does he continue it?

I use medium security settings in IE8 and I have never got problems.

If you have security options for internet zones you have  to allowable our site before to do login.


Could you find the settings in IE?
