1 pound being added to all order weights

I administer an ecomm site using osC. We've discovered that every order is getting 1 pound added to the weight for the order.

So for example, if I order something that is .25 pounds in weight, the shipping cost gets calculated on a weight of 1.25 pounds.

This happens for both our UPS shipping module and our USPS module.

Anyone have an idea? Is there some sort of minimum shipping weight option somewhere?

Need a contribution that offers a discount with Free Shipping

We have a customer that wants to offer a discount with free shipping. So we want to give people 10% off their order AND free shipping for that same order.

We've installed and used the CCGV contribution, and it works great for discount coupons, but the contribution doesn't allow for free shipping and a discount to be used together for the same order.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a contribution that will provide for discount coupons that can be combined with free shipping?

Free Shipping and a Discount

Love the contribution, but we want to give a customer free shipping and a discount. The contribution doesn't allow this. So 2 questions:

1 - Why isn't this allowed? Is it something specific to how osCommerce works?

2 - Any suggestions about how to modify the cont so we can give free shipping and a discount?

Credit Class & Gift Voucher

We are using the Credit Class & Gift Voucher contribution.

It appears when a coupon is set to use Free Shipping, the discount amount for the coupon is ignored.

We want a coupon that has a discount amount (let's say 10% off your order) AND free shipping.

Does anyone know of a modification that would accomplish this?

Also, if we set up a coupon with just Free Shipping, the free shipping doesn't get applied at checkout. I have confirmed that we are using the modification from [18 Jul 2010] that is supposed to fix this issue, but free shipping is still not being applied.
