1 - Palestine (check out Occupation 101 on youtube) - I knew nothing about the realities of the occupation until I saw the Gaza Massacre at the beginning of 2009. My take is that Israel's impunity is a major plank of USA foreign policy and that that, in turn, has absolutely nothing to do with the interests of the people of the USA and everything to do with an out-of-control CIA serving the interests of a power-hungry elite with the moral standards of a common or garden psychopath. Just a hunch - I could be wrong :-) It's all about waking up.

My (much neglected) theory on the psychology of compassion - "the mechanics of strength and weakness" - that no bugger, so far, has had the brains to understand - basically, it's just a theory of the evolution of action - need to meet a psychiatrist or neuroscientist with research funding and a Norman ancestry (just for the instincts).
Geneology (and the genetic origins of intuition - not really a theory, more of an observation) - geneology helps to keep the family in mind - always trying not to disappoint and shame my ancestors any more than I already have.
Philosophy and the psychology of philosophical thought.
Getting to the basics of... things - and being first to do it - doesn't pay the bills but I'm going to get shitloads of respect once I'm dead. :-)
