  1. Looking at http://clickbanksuccessforum.com/forum/vie...p?p=39392#39392 you can see that not much is going on. Anyone have suggestions on where to get a good programmer?
  2. Read with interest the contribution for multi-stores. Hope someone here is affordable or can give a list of people to talk to who may assist. If I comprehend correctly, this contribution allows us to have one software storefront that buyers can use no matter which store we service. As merchants agree to our terms and join us, we add them to a new drop-down menu called "Location, or City" something like that, that includes their selected offerings. After buyers select a location then they see what we have for sale of interest to them. The products we'd sell would only be available in their areas. A different product description and price schedule would be made up for their area, hopefully! Rather than mess up the kcpa-tv.com/catalog store as we now have it running somewhat OK, if it isn't that expensive, then I'd rather pay someone to install this contribution and get it running quickly. I can play with adding product descriptions and attributes all on my own time, during spart time (ha!). Anyone qualified wants this job? Plz email: me [at] DoctorMason [dot] us

  4. Well, back when I had some eBooks selling on eBay, it was setup so as soon as you paid, you got a link to a secret file that you downloaded. All I did was protect the hidden directory so that nobody could see what else was stored in it. I've heard that somewhere in OSC Admin you can set it up so when your clients d/l digital products you can set a limit of 2-3 times.
  5. neoflame, How does your digital downloads work? I want the same and don't want to make the mistakes others have. Can you spare a moment to tell how it operates please? Thanks!
  6. Well, what problems are you having? Error messages? Which error messages are stumping you?
  7. If I use this variable products commission (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1580), how should I set the Affiliate contrib in the Admin section? We have the Affiliate contrib and it seems to be working OK. Anyone using both with no trouble? DKM
  8. But for us Yanks, it would be safe to install it. I hope the details or FAQ's on the Affiliate program show up soon. You posed a very clear question about it. DKM
  9. So, if we add the above code, affiliates will NOT be paid for any taxes we collect, since taxes go to the gov't. So the above code MUST be installed by everyone using the affiliate module.
  10. Can you tell me how to check to know for sure that the 2_tier mod is working in OSC Affiliate? An affiliate checks in and wants to see his downline... Where is that info? Thanks in advance!
  11. Mine is also set for 2tiers. How do you test it to see your downline? I did not see anything in the reports section once I logged in as an affiliate.
  12. Perhaps you have other mods - contributions that conflict? When I logged on as an affiliate and went into and looked into the Affiliate mod, I was able to select one of my "products" and it showed the picture of the product and gave me some html to place onto my webpage. May I suggest that you install a clean copy of osC onto some sub domain you have, and only add the Affiliate mod? You should see that it works fine. Believe me, I'm NO php guru and I was able to do it.
  13. When I had the same problem, it clearly was a MySQL database problem. So, to fix it, I went into phpMyAdmin and selected the database. Then clicked on "IMPORT" and located the affiliate.sql file and uploaded it. All worked fine for me since then. May work for you too!
  14. Installed the osc-affiliate onto virgin code. When clicking into the affiliate box, the only error seems to be this one. https://www.kcpa-tv.comaffiliate_affiliate....d9b4578f54eccf8 it seems that there is no forward slash mark after www.kcpa-tv.com. In which file is this error located? Thanks, DKM
  15. Does Ultimate SEO URL's conflict with OSC Affiliate? Try as I may, nothing seems to work when these two programs are on the same server. Anyone else having success using both contributions? We run the upgraded 05-1113 version of osC. Thanks, DKM
