In Topic: Sub-categories do exist, but do not display

27 July 2011, 10:44

Hi

Thank you for your response. The client specified the page width, apparently they sell primarily to the trade, and an extra wide screen is the norm. Those of us using 1024x768, or (gasp) 800x600 screens will see that slide bar.

Regarding the subcategories missing category listing, I did check out your theory. Unfortunately it didn't help. I verified there were no inactive products in each category.

I also did the following without a successful outcome:

Ensured each category had an image to display
Turned off cache
Showed category counts (in setup)
Changed categories to list per row (from 9 to 2)

Short of reinstalling the whole script, I am at a loss.

Anyone with ideas where I should be checking?

Use the file manager in your hosting control panel to set the correct permission on the 2 mentioned files.

What are the correct permissions?
