  1. @@kymation I am wanting to use the Navbar Full Categories Menu but when I do, the categories are spaced to far apart. Because they are, they shoot way off the bottom of the page. When I use the Navbar Categories Menu, the categories stop at the bottom of the page like they should. The Untitled-1.png image is of the Navbar Categories Menu and the Untitled-2.png is of the Navbar Full Categories Menu. Is they a way for the Navbar Full Categories Menu to be spaced the same as the Navbar Categories Menu? Take care Bill
  2. @@socomtactical.net The add-on Steve mentioned works beautifully.
  3. @@davidtranlds You said "the shipping of $15, and the discount is free shipping, thus there's a -$15 for the discount" I understand your normal price for the shipping is $15 and the discount is free shipping which is causing the negative number. But, are you setting the shipping discount to 100% to get free shipping or are you using a dollar value? As far as I'm aware, you have to use a percentage for the Discount Codes. My discount mod says "Shipping discounts can only be set as percentage. Type 100% for free shipping." Off the top of my head I can't remember where at PayPal, I changed a setting for them to use my shipping rates and not there's. Removing the $ symbol was just a suggestion, I'm not for sure it will work or not. There's other things that helped me with PayPal more. I changed the Admin -Tax Rate to 2 decimals. I changed the Admin - Localization - Currencies to 2 decimals. I set every single database table that had a column with a decimal value to 2 decimal places. They were set at 15,4 and I changed them all to 15,2. It seemed to help with PayPal. Some add-ons people use have the value set to 15,2 when the core uses 15,4. I think it confuses PayPal. If you want to try to see if it will help to remove the $ go to: Admin - Localization - Currencies and make your change there. These are just suggestions you can try. Take care Bill
  4. @@davidtranlds Discount Codes 4.2.1 BS works for Paypal. Paypal has an easy way to offer gift certificates. https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Merchant/merchant/GCIntro-outside For the problem mentioned below, you can try leaving out the $ symbol. When clicking through to PayPal, PayPal doesn't like this -$1.25 and throws the following message; "The link you have used to enter the PayPal system contains an incorrectly formatted item amount."
  5. @@raiwa I'm using the PayPal App and the zip file is app-paypal-4_039.zip. Within the template file it uses action=paypal_login for the return URL. I've used that same return URL at the PayPal Developers site for the REST API for both the Sandbox and Live. And I made sure to save each. All of my credentials for the app are correct. I still can't get it to work. My site is fully SSL so I used the return URL of https://my-domain.com/login.php?action=paypal_login. Where in EDGE do you find the correct PayPal Login template file? I'd really like to know, this has been driving me batty. Take care Bill
  6. @@natkris It can take some effort and time to get a site to work properly with SSL. Especially if you go full SSL front and back. Although, sometimes you can revert to the basics to see if you can get it to work correctly. Besides refreshing your browser and clearing your cache, IF you use a CDN (Content Delivery Network) you have to clear / purge your files there. One of the main functions of a CDN is to store your files for quicker access. Things that don't change often like CSS, JS, SSL, etc. can sit in their cache for a while. It's just a thought Nathan. 7. @@matthet I'm not sure if there is an add-on for that. I never heard of one. I'm pretty sure someone from the Commercial Support Enquiries section could create something like that for you if you can't find one in the add-ons page. If you post your question there, it shouldn't take long for you to get a response. Some of the members here monitor that section frequently. It's a "For Hire" section of the forum.

  9. @@matthet You can install both of these and let your customer choose what they need. This will work with 2.34 Edge and older version. Nov 4 2008 Print Order receipt This will work with 2.34 Edge and there's older version to choose. Click the more downloads for the one you need. PDF Customer Invoice v1.0 I can give you some files I updated for the Print Order receipt so it will work with Edge. Take care Bill
  10. @@Jack_mcs It's my bad, I was updating and didn't use the reset option. All is good now. Take care Bill
  11. @@Jack_mcs From the new package, when I tick the box for Remove Orphan Products, I get this error: 1054 - Unknown column 'orphan_products_last_update' in 'field list' update database_optimizer set orphan_products_last_update = now() [TEP STOP] The "orphan_products_last_update" needs to be added to the database_optimizer table. All of the others work fine. Take care Bill
  12. @@Psytanium The sitemapindex.xml list all of the other sitemaps so that is what is recommended to be turned into google and the other search engines. Also, you should point to it in your robots.txt file as well. 13. @@microlightstore Not sure which version your running but you can look at this: UK Royal Mail & Overseas Shipping Methods 21st Aug Prices It works for UK based shipping and worldwide shipping. It has an insurance option as well. Here's more shipping options: http://addons.oscommerce.com/category/Shipping_Modules Take care Bill
  14. @@Jack_mcs Your answer makes sense. I checked to see if I enabled that feature in my google account. It appears it is not but, I'd bet it's something similar to that within Google. I'll keep searching until I find the cause. I didn't think it was your add-on because all seemed fine with the sitemaps but I had to ask since the answer wasn't obvious. By the way, I love your add-on, it works beautifully. I especially like the fact that I can use it with a cron job. Take care Bill
