#1756136 Chrome blocked the mail.php page

Posted by AngusD on 25 April 2017 - 11:08

this is flagged as a bug in Chrome. Which Version do you use? Maybe an update of your browser fixes this.

Workaround: Start your Chrome with the " -disable-xss-auditor"-Paramter: https://www.bmyers.c...r-in-Chrome.cfm

There are other workarounds, but they affect the security of your site. So they shouldn't really be used.

Try updating your browser first, before you disable the XXS Auditor in your browser. Or switch to a different browser.

#1756031 PayPal shows blank page

Posted by AngusD on 22 April 2017 - 08:56

Update: The vanishing order error has been resolved, too.

In our case, it was caused by the "Order Status" setting in the "PayPal Payments Standard" config.

The option "Store Default Order Status" caused the order to be deleted after checkout. There's no reason why it does this. There are no "delete"-queries anywhere near the checkout_process/checkout_success-scripts.

We set the "Order Status" to "Delivered". This seemed to fix the issue.

#1706302 Wishlist for 2.3 - Last Problem

Posted by AngusD on 06 October 2014 - 12:11

the problem is the missing "public_id" in the form.

Find the "tep_draw_form"-line and change it to:

<?php echo tep_draw_form('wishlist_form',tep_href_link($PHP_SELF, 'public_id='. (int)$public_id, 'SSL')); ?>

Could work. No promisses.

#1698472 Order Totals modules need a bit of a fix - Data Types in tables

Posted by AngusD on 22 May 2014 - 08:18

if you remove the currency-signs too, you get two nearly identical columns - text and value. You could just keep the currency in the text-column and the price in the value-column.

Wouldn't you need an additional database-query to get the currency-sign out of the orders_total-table, if you use only the currency-id?
What if you remove a currency from the database or if you update to a new database and don't import your old currency-table?
