Ok, I am confused. I switched to paypal website standard and everything works fine, and the shipping carries over just like it should.

Thanks Jim. It was working fine for a while, but then started giving this error on last step of checkout when the checkout button is used. Fatal error: Class 'httpClient' not found in /home/combatk2/public_html/store/includes/modules/shipping/usps.php on line 287 When using the paypal checkout button it goes to paypal site, but does not carry the shipping through. This was working when I made my last post.

It looks like it is going to work, as soon as I figure out how to configure for the usps flat rate weights and measurements. It seems that the new application_top.php file does not play well with others?

Ok, got the errors to go a way replacing each file one at a time until I got to /includes/application_top.php Starting over again, , , :(

Like I said, my php leaves a bit to be desired. Since I am assuming the code snip is correct, what is the most likely problem in that file? Also, I am assuming that it does not matter where I put the code so long as it is after a ; ?

Just to check I moved the code you gave me to the end of the file. The error is now on line 251 ??

@@jim I removed the [ and a new string of errors started. Looking for the ' now, thanks. edit: several ' in the code you gave me (used as quotations), but nothing that looks out of place. Then again, my php is not that great. Ideas?

I realize it must be me because I see so many who have gotten this mod to work. That being said, I have tried to install the mod a few times now and get errors each time. I have just installed a fresh oscommerce and have not started config as of yet. What do I need to do to get this mod to work so I can use usps for all shipping options? The file, xml_5.php is not in the includes folder, or anywhere else in the script that I can find. I removed the call for it from the usps.php file and it allowed me to install the mod, but if it will work is another question.

I am having the same error (Warning: require_once(includes/classes/xml_5.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/) trying to install shipping mods, only one visible from admin is the flat rate.
