  1. shipping. I need: Options deployed by product category (i.e. some products are shipped via pallet, and need to go freight, while some can go UPS or FedEx ground). A promotion option for free shipping, as needed (at any given time some, but not all products, may need a free shipping designation). Ideally, I could designate and deploy these options via Easy Populate (using the product number). Any recommendations?
  2. I am using OSCommerce 2.2 with Easy Populate. The goods we sell are from major printer manufacturers. Our regular pricing is always below the MSRP, both of which are currently shown to the customer. In addition to our normally discounted price, the manufacturers will occasionally offer to customers three other types of discounts or rebates: "Instant Cash": This is a rebate that is applied to the product price, and shows up at checkout, if the customer purchases within a predetermined time frame. I would like to show this: 1) at the product level in the catalog (with expiration date); 2) Have the rebate noted and deducted appropriately at time of check out (the notation is important in the event of a return); 3) have the rebate expire automatically by date; 4) report the price adjusted after rebate to Froogle; 5) I would like to upload rebate information (amount, expiration, title) via Easy Populate. "Mail In Rebates": This is a rebate that DOES NOT affect the check out price, but that every customer is eligible for , provided they buy during the appropriate time frame. The customer mails in proof of purchase to the Manufacturer, and receives a check for the rebate amount. I would like to show this: 1) at the product level in the catalog (with expiration date) - i.e. show "price after mail in rebate"; 2) at check out, it SHOULD NOT be deducted from the product price, but there should be a notation or line item to remind the customer that they are eligible (and perhaps a link to a page at my website where I can post instructions for claiming rebates); 3) Have the rebate expire automatically by date; 4) report the adjusted "After Mail In Rebate" price to Froogle; 5) I would like to upload rebate information (amount, expiration, title) via Easy Populate. "Other Rebates": These are other rebates that are applied after the transaction, that may be available to some eligible customers, such a those that have an eligible trade in. I would like to show these: 1) at the product level in the catalog (with expiration date) - but they shoul d show independent of the price of the product; 2) at check out, it SHOULD NOT be deducted from the product price, but there should be a notation or line item to remind the customer that they are eligible (and perhaps a link to a page at my website where I can post instructions for claiming rebates); 3) Have the rebate expire automatically by date; 4) I would like to upload rebate information (amount, expiration, title) via Easy Populate. How this might look at the product level: Product XYZ Price: $100.00 Discounted Price: $90.00 Instant Rebate: $5.00 (Good from May 1, 2010 to June 5, 2010) Manufacturers Mail In Rebate: $7.00 (Good from May 15, 2010 to June 15, 2010) Customer's Price after Mail In and Instant Rebates: $78.00 ** This is the price I would like reported to Froogle ** Additional Trade in Rebate $5.00 (Good from May 1, 2010 to June 5, 2010 - for eligible printer trade ins only) One additional note: Their may be multiples of each type of rebate, that may overlap due to date. Foe example, their could be a third quarter "instant rebate" for July, August, and September, and a one day additional "instant rebate" on July 3 (call it an Independence Day rebate). Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! Chuck
  3. I am using EasyPopulate, and I need a solution for two things: An ability to incorporate short term "instant" rebates, and their expiration dates. These will be deducted at the time of check out. An ability to incorporate and manage manufacturer "mail in" rebates, and their expiration dates. These discounts will not be deducted at the time of check out, but I would like to show an adjusted "After Mail In Rebate" price on the product page, so that customers can see how the rebate will afect them. I would also like to report the "After Mail In Rebate Price" to Froogle. Thanks!!
  4. OK, I found the "Update" button after clicking on "Preview", and I've had a chance to play around with it a bit. A few issues that I need to resolve: The scaling of images is still off, especially for those that need to be scaled down a bit. The problem is that the x axis is scaled at a different rate compared to the y axis. The popup isn't working. What should I use for the Easy Populate headers for the images? Thanks!!
  5. I have just completed the install of UltraPics 2.08 w/ Lightbox 2.04, on OSCommerce 2.2 RC2 with easy populate. A few issues: 1) When I have completed the edit of a product, my only options are "Preview" and "Cancel", but no "Save". I can't store photos at the product level. How can I reconcile this? 2) The photos of the trailing catagory (previous category) that are in the upper right corner (I am using the standard template) are not sized correctly. How do I fix this? 3) I seem to have a few extra image files that were part of the download, but not part of the install(all are jpegs): "edit_product"; "product_details_no_popup"; "product_details_popups". Should these be intalled somewhere? Thanks!!
