  1. Chris - you're a star! Thank you for your help. That was it! Mind you - it seems to still be 30 to 50p more than what my spreadsheet is showing, but i dont think that should matter. You've been a great help. Thanks again :)
  2. Hi everybody i have just installed the Royal Mail international and european shipping module. I am having problems with the postage rates at the checkout stage. They seem to be over-inflated. In the admin area of my store - under the European Option, I entered the following string: 0.01:1.24,0.02:1.24,0.04:1.24,0.06:1.24,0.08:1.24,0.1:1.24................etc etc For some reason, it gives a high value for delivery on a product which weighs 250 grams (entered 0.25 within the product listing). This high delivery cost doesn't correlate with the entered rates from above. This also happened when I tried to install the UK 1st Class option. The delivery rates seem to be over-priced. Where am I going wrong?? What do I need to change in order to get this to comply?
  3. Thanks Chris I've double checked and I'm pretty sure that I've uploaded to the correct directory. I literally went into the Catalogue folder of the download and uploaded the folders that I could see, straight into the root of my store folder, via Filezilla. I then also uploaded these folders into my admin area just incase aswell... its still listing all those errors. They seem to revolve around line 131 of that modules.php file? Does some type of code need to be inserted? Does something need to be defined? Please feel free to offer alternative advice thanks again
  4. Hi there I've just installed this contribution: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4289/page,13 and when I go into the Modules > Shipping area within my Oscommerce Admin area - I see a list of errors!!! I wont list all of them. Lets start with a few to begin with. Here's what I see: Warning: include(/********************/languages/english/modules/shipping/euro.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /****************/admin/modules.php on line 131 Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening '/**************/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/euro.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /*************/admin/modules.php on line 131 ...and lines 131 and 132 from modules.php are as follows: include(DIR_FS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES . $language . '/modules/' . $module_type . '/' . $file); include($module_directory . $file); Please help!! what do i have to do in order to resolve this issue and get this contribution working? Thank you in advance
  5. i need to know this exact same thing.... please can anyone help??!
  6. How do i uninstall the Easy Meta tags?? They haven't made any evident differences to my website and everything is how it was before on the google search results...except not my website's fallen in the google rankings!!! Maybe i'm missing something...
  7. "AND you add the defines as described in the install file to your language files." I accessed the Language folder... what do you mean when you say "add the defines as described"? Where is that? is that the english.php or the index.php in the english languages folder???? please let me know!! please!! thanks!!
  8. ok thanks. But how will the details of my website show up in google search results? I don't have detailed text written anywhere for google to pick up...
  9. Hi there, I downloaded the Easy Meta tags 1.7 and installed "very easy v1-2-4" and followed the instructions... I replaced <title><?php echo TITLE; ?></title> with <?php include(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'easy_meta_tags.php'); ?> in index.php, product_info.php and product_reviews_info.php I then added (in index.php) : <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=<?php echo CHARSET; ?>"> <title>WEBSITE NAME|BRAND NAME|BRAND NAME|BRAND NAME|</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en"> <meta name="description" content="DESCRIPTION OF MY WEBSITE AND THE STUFF I SELL"> <meta name="keywords" content="KEYWORDS RELATED TO THE STUFF I SELL"> </head> <?php include(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'easy_meta_tags.php'); ?> i found that the "title" of my website changed to the desired "WEBSITE NAME|BRAND NAME|BRAND NAME|BRAND NAME - mozilla", whereas before it was simply just "website name -mozilla firefox" The problem that i have is that i can't see the description or the keyword content that i added ... is the above way correct or not? what do i need to enter for my decription + keywords to show up on my website? I'm quite a stuck newbie, so any help would be much appreciated. many thanks.
  10. i've been looking for this package, does anyone have a link to PayPal IPN Module v2.3.3 that works, please?
  11. just read this whole thread... I was having a lot of trouble with my checkout values not being forwarded to paypal so i tried a few things suggested by the clever folks here, and seems to be working alright now - which i'm over the moon about!! I still have the problem though, and that is of not being able to see the item description in the checkout process (it just states my website's name) or the actual quantity of items ordered (its stuck on 1 for quantity). Anyone know how i can solve this issue??
  12. Hiya everyone! When I add items to my basket and then go to checkout, choosing paypal as the payment method - the values of the item & postage do not show up at all, all there is 0.00?! Also, the real quantity of items does not show either nor does the title / descriptions of the items. Instead, it asks the customer to enter a value - like, pay whatever you like!! How can I get the values from the basket transferred over to the paypal payment stage, along with the items' titles? Any help would be really appreciated!! Thank you.
