From Sydney, Australia currently living in the Blue Mountains just west of Sydney.

Started working as a computer operator in 1989 back in the days when data transfers where large round tapes sent via courier. Fax modems were experimented with to send sensitive data but they were slow and feared by the elders.

During the 1990's I held several positions with Lend Lease Employer Systems which was a great learning experience. By the end of my career with Lend Lease in the late 1990's I was responsible for over AUD$50,000,000- per month worth of electronic data transfers from employers then to the tax office and major superannuation funds etc.

Since 2000 I have worked as a freelance IT Project Manager for several different companies large and small but I have always had a keen interest in ecommerce. Recently I began working on some major projects that will be launching in 2010 running osCcommerce 2.2 RC2a and will eventually run osCommerce 3 when it's ready for full release.

I'm looking forward to getting to know the osCommerce community members and I'm all for a meetup in Sydney anytime
