Good afternoon.
I've been requested to remove unneeded cookies from our website. It's based on oscommerce and I've been having a little problem with it. The problem is that a osCsid is generated when you first visit the site. This from what I understand is not in compliance with the new EU law. If however the visitor clicks on a item / buy now etc then you can safely generate the cookie.
I've done a little experiment by disabling cookies in my browser and visiting the site. It would only then generate a session url id when I clicked on an item which is correct. How can I get it to behave the same using cookies ?
