  1. Not sure if this would help at all, but here is the information about our GD Library: GD Support enabled GD Version bundled (2.0.34 compatible) FreeType Support enabled FreeType Linkage with freetype FreeType Version 2.1.9 T1Lib Support enabled GIF Read Support enabled GIF Create Support enabled JPG Support enabled PNG Support enabled WBMP Support enabled XBM Support enabled Also I can try to talk to our host about the problems, but the site it is on is owned by another business I am working for, so I don't think they would be too keen on switching hosts =/ J
  2. Turned off filters and cookies and still no image =( no more error message with reading the session id, however, so it looks like the image posted before. J
  3. We are not using a template. I'm not sure which links I would have to check, but assuming that the stock oscommerce uses the appropriate links listed in your osCid post, then I am pretty sure we haven't made any adjustments to that. As for versions, here's the list because I am not sure which ones you would need: MySQL client version: 5.0.51a MySQL Server version: 5.0.54-log PHP Version 5.2.8 System- Windows NT WEBE50 5.2 build 3790 Are there certain pages where I should check for linking? I'll try to check the ones in the catalog folder to see if there are any mistakes for now. Thanks, J PS: forgot to mention that I have followed most of your instructions on this post as well: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?s=&...t&p=1299417 in order to make the site more secure. Not sure if any permissions or anything would effect it.
  4. I don't know if i know exactly how to answer your question =/ but here it goes. I started getting that error right after I enabled 'force cookie use' and it appears when I load any of the pages with validation image on it. The page looks exactly like the image I had posted earlier, but with the error to the left of the image. J
  5. I added that piece of code and also forced cookie usage so that the SID can't get lost and now i get this error: Error, unable to read session id
  6. It was set to true for the screenshot. I also have a multiple image contribution installed as well, I feel like that probably wouldn't effect it but should probably mention just incase
  7. I'm still getting the "Image cannot be displayed because it contains errors" message. However, the image sort of shows up before. Here's a screen shot: http://img16.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pr...g&via=yfrog Before, there wouldn't even be that little piece of an image, it would just not show up. Now, that small piece of an image shows up, but the characters are not displayed =( Any ideas? Thanks again by the way, you've been awesome through all of this Sam =) J
  8. Thanks for the advice Sam, I appreciate it ^_^ I updated everything and it seems to be working fine, accept the image being generated still contains errors. I'm guessing that this is because the osC Thumbs contribution has tampered with the tep_image() function. Is that function called for in the validation_png.php file? The original tep_image() function has been renamed to tep_image_original() on my site because of the contribution, so should be all set once i adjust the name of the function in the appropriate file. If its not there, any idea where it might be? Thanks for the advice an all your help so far, J
  9. Thanks for the advice spooks didn't even know that there was a new version. Any idea if the same SQL script can be run or not? already ran it through and I don't know if i could undo and redo. were there any changes between versions? thanks, J
  10. Hey everyone, Great idea for a contribution and I can't wait to get it working! I am having a few problems, however. The pages load fine but no image is displayed; not even a broken image! When I do the post install test I get the following error: The image "http://www.yourdomain.com/catalog/validation_png.php?rsid=bfto0mcgd719" cannot be displayed because it contains errors. I cut the ID number a bit short, but that is the bulk of it. I have looked at post #451 at the following URL: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?s=&...t&p=1266557 And tried that solution with no success =( Also, I have installed oscThumbs on it so far, and tried looking for any tep_image functions to switch them back to the original tep_image_original() and couldn't find any. I'm not sure if that's causing the error or if it something else, but have been searching the forums for about an hour without any results. Anyone else have a similar problem? Also, I have tried using the validation_png_2.5.php as well without any luck (however, now that i think of it, i didn't try that after using the advice in post #451 so will need to give that a shot.) I am currently using Anti-robot validation v2.9.1 Thanks for any help, J
  11. OK nevermind, jack, my own noobness is amazing lol. I didn't exclude many directories so it was timing out, but its all set now. Thanks again for the advice! J
  12. Thanks for the speedy response, Jack, I will look into both of those with my host. One more quick question. Aside from the mail thing, everything was working fine. I recently also installed SecurityPro after reading Spooks post Here on the forums and I am now getting a fatal error message: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in mystore\myadmin\includes\functions\sitemonitor_functions.php on line 198 I am also getting the same error on line 200 (the error seen above is when i hit the middle button in the admin panel; line 200 error is when i hit the top button.) Any quick fix for this as well? Thanks again for your help, J
  13. Hi Jack, First, let me just say that this is a great contribution! I installed it and am mostly happy with the results thus far! I just had 1 error and 1 question, mostly because I am a php noob. These should probably be pretty easy to answer =) First, the error! After the initial install, I ran everything as specficied and hit a problem on the second button: When it attempts to the the email i get this error message: Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in mysite\myadmin\includes\functions\sitemonitor_functions.php on line 633 all other emails from the site send fine, and I am not sure how to do an ini_set. Also, my second question is how do i set up a cron job? Which file and where abouts do i put it in? i tried searching around the forums a bit but couldn't really find an answer. Thanks for your help, and great job with this contribution! J
  14. VJ, Thanks for an awesome contribution! I have recently installed this contribution and love it! Great work! J
  15. Thanks again, Jack! Just finished installation and it works like a charm! Definitely a great contribution! J
