A link on how to set to up UPS shipping you mean ? If so, not that I know of. Just create your UPS account with them, then enter the information they provide to you into the UPS module. It's pretty basic unless you dimensions and other things. It depends on what you're shipping.

The reference sites you mentioned have a customized product selection process that would require custom coding to accomplish. However, you could create something similar by using Options as Images (available in the add on area of this website) to create something similar.

There are a few contributions available to allow users to post products on your store, but they are very limited. If you truly want a marketplace store, then I suggest you google for osCommerce Mall.

You can google for templates. But, remember to choose one that is v2.3.3. Also, commercial templates, although they are visually more appealing, they sometimes alter some core file coding so adding contributions to them may be a little trickier.
