  1. don't have time to try in now. Will do so after the weekend and get back to you. thousand thanks
  2. I've actually tried all this with the permissions with no success. Also have tried putting a directory in my httpdocs with the relevant permissions and put my pubring.gpg file in there. Still no success: I don't have command line access to my server to test it. My host wants to know what EXACTLY what he should do to help. For instance, go to command line ... type blah blah, record the results, then type blah blah, if it says blah blah, do this, if not record the results. .... etc., He doesn't want to help unless I'm more specific, which I can understand. CMR
  3. Well I did what you said and NO temp files where left in the temp directory. What does this mean? Also changed the $gpgrecipient details. Might it have something to do with key compatibility? On my personal computer where I created the private and public keys there is a gpg preferences window in which CUSTOM compatibility is selected, though I could select PGP 2.x (rfc 1991) PGP 2.x (mit pgp 2.6.1) PGP 6 Open PGP (RFC 2440) There is also a checkbox for PGP 5.x compatible signitures? Really doubt this has anything to do with it though! CMR
  4. I've been working on this module for 3 days now and just can't get it to work. I've set it up properly as far as the php files and admin section is concerned, and the order is coming through fine. The middle 8 digits at the order pages of admin are XXXXXXXX out. However, although I do get an 'Extra Order Info' email it is completely blank of information. I'm guessing that this has something to do with my paths. These are correct however: $gpgpath="/usr/bin/gpg"; //MY HOSTING COMPANY SET THIS UP AND TOLD ME THIS WAS THE CORRECT PATH $gpgrecipient="My Name (CC Details) <[email protected]>"; //I KNOW THIS IS CORRECT! However, I must be having problems with the other paths: $plainTxt = "/home/tmp/" . "$tmpToken" . "anca"; $crypted = "/home/tmp/" . "$tmpToken" . "anca.asc"; $gpghome="/home/"; //where is your pubring? That dir has to have write access. Now my hosting company has created a home directory for me before the httpdocs directory where my catalog pages is stored. This is actually: /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.com/home/ /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.com/home/tmp/ the catalog is stored here: /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/ My public ring is called pubring.gpg I've tried this: $plainTxt = "/home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.com/home/tmp/" . "$tmpToken" . "anca"; $crypted = "/home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.com/home/tmp/" . "$tmpToken" . "anca.asc"; $gpghome="/home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.com/home/"; //where is your pubring? That dir has to have write access. this: $gpghome="/home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.com/home/pubring.gpg"; //where is your pubring? That dir has to have write access. this: $plainTxt = "/home/tmp/" . "$tmpToken" . "anca"; $crypted = "/home/tmp/" . "$tmpToken" . "anca.asc"; $gpghome="/home/"; //where is your pubring? That dir has to have write access. and the above with this: $gpghome="/home/pubring.gpg"; //where is your pubring? That dir has to have write access. And even, by putting my public key in a directory within the httpdocs directory itself: $plainTxt = "http://www.mydomain.com/home/tmp/" . "$tmpToken" . "anca"; $crypted = "http://www.mydomain.com/ home/tmp/" . "$tmpToken" . "anca.asc"; $gpghome="http://www.mydomain.com/home/"; //where is your pubring? That dir has to have write access. Still doesn't work. I just get an Extra Info Email with nothing in it. So I have tried changing the permissions of the directory and files: /home/ (user read, write, execute / group read, execute / world read, execute /tmp/ (user + group read, write, execute / world read, write pubring.gpg (user read, write / other read / world read ) to user/group/world read, write, executive Do you know what the problem might be? I'm using ms1 ? Is there a way to test these paths by email or something to see if the encryption works? Any help and I would appreciate it big time. Christian
  5. when you say ABOVE your public_html directory do you mean the directory BEFORE or AFTER the public_html director? Not sure what this term means. I presume ABOVE means BEFORE so that it cannot be accessed directly via the browser? (i.e mydomain.com/pubring/)? CMR
  6. Ooops ... forgot this .... http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,611 CMR
  7. I'm on the process of using the following contribution: The changes I need to make areL ? $plainTxt = "/path/to/temp/" . "$tmpToken" . "anca"; ? ?? ?? ?$crypted = "/path/to/temp/" . "$tmpToken" . "anca.asc"; ? ?? ?? ?$gpghome="/path/to/pubring/";? //where is your pubring? That dir has to have write access. ? ?? ?? ?$gpgpath="/path/to/gpg";? ?//where is the executable -this must be the correct path to gpg ? ?? ?? ? My question is: I've created both private and public keys. I plan to put my public keys in the appropriate folder. But how do I create the gpg executable? Do I create this when creating keys? Is this something my host will have or I download from the internet? Is it actually the name of the public key ring? Confused. CMR
  8. It doesn't work with the default zone either- even with $this->num_zones = 1; International Parcel Post - AIR Enable Zones Method 1 Handling Fee 0 Zone 1 Countries US,CA Zone 1 Shipping Table 3:8.50,7:10.50,99:20.00 I've tried to test it by changing my login details from UK to US to test this and it still doesn't show up in the checkout pages. Anyone?
  9. Hi, I've recently downloaded Dual Zones, v1.2 from the osC site. Great, this is what I need since I'm trying to create both standard and express shipping from the UK to 5 zones (UK, EUROPE, USA & CANADA, WORLD ZONE 1, WORLD ZONE 2). I've followed all the steps as per the instructions including replacing the defualt zones.php with your zones.php and copying over the other files you have provided (zonesecon.php and the language files you have provided too). I've also replaced $this->num_zones = 1; with $this->num_zones = 5; (both zones.php and zonesecon.php) Now I go to the shipping modules in the admin pages and activate (green button) the 2 new shipping modules and deactivate all the other shipping modules. I then go to edit the new shipping modules: International Parcel Post - AIR Enable Zones Method 1 Handling Fee 0 Zone 1 Countries GB Zone 1 Shipping Table 0-0.1:4.10,0.1-0.5:4.45,0.5-1.0:5.60,1.0-2.0:6.90,2.0-10.0:18.75,10.0-20.0:37.50,20.0-40.0:75.00,40.0-1000.0:1000.00 Zone 2 Countries IE,BE,NL,LU,DK,FR,FX,DE,MC,GR,IT,PT,ES,AL,AD,AM,AT,BY,BA,BG,CV,HR,CY,CZ,EE,FO,FI ,GE,GI,GL,HU,IS,LV,LI,LT,MK,MT,MD,NO,PL,RO,RU,SM,SK,SI,SE,CH,TR,UA,VA,YU Zone 2 Shipping Table 0-.5:23,.5-1:26,1-1.5:28,1.5-2:29,2-2.5:31,2.5-3:32,3-3.5:34,3.5-4:35,4-4.5:36,4.5-5:38,5-5.5:40,5.5-6:41,6-6.5:42,6.5-7:44,7-7.5:45,7.5-8:46,8-8.5:48,8.5-9:50,9-9.5:51,9.5-10:53,10-20:106,20-40:212,40-999:9999 Zone 3 Countries US,CA Zone 3 Shipping Table 0-.5:40,.5-1:43,1-1.5:46,1.5-2:49,2-2.5:52,2.5-3:55,3-3.5:58,3.5-4:60,4-4.5:63,4.5-5:65,5-5.5:68,5.5-6:70,6-6.5:73,6.5-7:75,7-7.5:78,7.5-8:80,8-8.5:83,8.5-9:85,9-9.5:88,9.5-10:90,10-25:150,25-50:300,50-999:9999 Zone 4 Countries AS,AU,BN,KH,CN,CX,CC,TP,FJ,PF,GU,HK,ID,JP,KI,KR,LA,MO,MY,MH,FM,MN,MM,NR,NC,NZ,NF ,MP,PG,PH,PN,WS,SG,SB,TW,TH,TO,TV,VU,VN,WF Zone 4 Shipping Table 0-.5:40,.5-1:45,1-1.5:49,1.5-2:53,2-2.5:58,2.5-3:62,3-3.5:65,3.5-4:69,4-4.5:73,4.5-5:77,5-5.5:80,5.5-6:83,6-6.5:86,6.5-7:89,7-7.5:92,7.5-8:95,8-8.5:99,8.5-9:102,9-9.5:105,9.5-10:108,10-15:138,15-30:276,30-999:9999 Zone 5 Countries AQ,AG,AR,BS,BD,BB,BZ,BM,BO,BR,IO,CL,CO,CK,CR,CI,CU,DM,DO,EC,EG,SV,FK,GF,TF,GD,GT ,HT,HN,IN,IR,IL,JM,JO,KE,KW,LB,LY,MG,MV,ML,MQ,MU,MX,MA,NP,OM,PK,PA,PY,PE,PR,QA,RE ,KN,LC,VC,SA,SC,ZA,LK,SH,PM,SY,TT,TN,AE,UM,UY,VE,VG,VI,YE Zone 5 Shipping Table 0-.5:42,.5-1:48,1-1.5:54,1.5-2:61,2-2.5:67,2.5-3:72,3-3.5:78,3.5-4:84,4-4.5:89,4.5-5:95,5-5.5:99,5.5-6:104,6-6.5:109,6.5-7:114,7-7.5:119,7.5-8:124,8-8.5:128,8.5-9:133,9-9.5:138,9.5-10:143,10-15:189,15-30:378,30-999:9999 and International Parcel Post - Economy Enable Economy Zones Method 1 Handling Fee 0 Zone 1 Countries GB Zone 1 Shipping Table 0.0-25.0:0.00,25.0-999.0:1000 (note that I'm trying to offer the option of free UK delivery as well as express) Zone 2 Countries IE,BE,NL,LU,DK,FR,FX,DE,MC,GR,IT,PT,ES,AL,AD,AM,AT,BY,BA,BG,CV,HR,CY,CZ,EE,FO,FI ,GE,GI,GL,HU,IS,LV,LI,LT,MK,MT,MD,NO,PL,RO,RU,SM,SK,SI,SE,CH,TR,UA,VA,YU Zone 2 Shipping Table 0-.2:5,.2-.4:6,.4-.6:7,.6-.8:8,.8-1:9,1-1.2:10,1.2-1.4:11,1.4-1.6:12,1.6-1.8:13,1.8-2:13.5,2-2.5:20,2.5-3:23,3-3.5:24,3.5-4:26,4-4.5:28,4.5-5:30,5-5.5:31,5.5-6:32,6-6.5:33,6.5-7:34,7-7.5:35,7.5-8.5:36,8.5-9:37,9-10:40,10-20:80,20-40:160,40-999:999 Zone 3 Countries US,CA Zone 3 Shipping Table 0-.1:5,.1-.2:6,.2-.4:8,.4-.6:10,.6-.8:12,.8-1.:13,1-1.2:15,1.2-1.4:17,1.4-1.6:18,1.6-1.8:20,1.8-2:22,2-2.5:27,2.5-3:30,3-3.5:33,3.5-4:36,4-4.5:40,4.5-5:43,5-5.5:45,5.5-6.:48,6-6.5:51,6.5-7:53,7-7.5:56,7.5-8:58,8-9:64,9-10:69,10-20:138,20-40:276,40-999:999 Zone 4 Countries AS,AU,BN,KH,CN,CX,CC,TP,FJ,PF,GU,HK,ID,JP,KI,KR,LA,MO,MY,MH,FM,MN,MM,NR,NC,NZ,NF ,MP,PG,PH,PN,WS,SG,SB,TW,TH,TO,TV,VU,VN,WF Zone 4 Shipping Table 0-.1:5,.1-.2:6,.2-.4:8,.4-.6:10,.6-.8:12,.8-1.:13,1-1.2:15,1.2-1.4:17,1.4-1.6:18,1.6-1.8:20,1.8-2:22,2-2.5:32,2.5-3:35,3-3.5:38,3.5-4:41,4-4.5:44,4.5-5:47,5-5.5:49,5.5-6:51,6-6.5:53,6.5-7:56,7-7.5:59,7.5-8:61,8-9:66,9-10:71,10-20:141,20-40:282,40-999:999 Zone 5 Countries AQ,AG,AR,BS,BD,BB,BZ,BM,BO,BR,IO,CL,CO,CK,CR,CI,CU,DM,DO,EC,EG,SV,FK,GF,TF,GD,GT ,HT,HN,IN,IR,IL,JM,JO,KE,KW,LB,LY,MG,MV,ML,MQ,MU,MX,MA,NP,OM,PK,PA,PY,PE,PR,QA,RE ,KN,LC,VC,SA,SC,ZA,LK,SH,PM,SY,TT,TN,AE,UM,UY,VE,VG,VI,YE Zone 5 Shipping Table 0-.1:5,.1-.2:6,.2-.4:8,.4-.6:10,.6-.8:12,.8-1:14,1-1.2:16,1.2-1.4:18,1.4-1.6:20,1.6-1.8:22,1.8-2:24,2-2.5:36,2.5-3:40,3-3.5:44,3.5-4:49,4-4.5:53,4.5-5:57,5-5.5:61,5.5-6:65,6-6.5:69,6.5-7:72,7-7.5:76,7.5-8:80,8-9:86,9-10:95,10-20:191,20-40:382,40-999:999 The problem is that when I go to the catalog pages to test the system and I go to the checkout pages all I get is this: Shipping Method This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order. I've tested this on two sites on my localhost and each seem to have the same problem. I'm wondering if I've input the prices wrong or if I've got to somehow activate the zones elsewhere. I really think I've followed the steps properly (I even got to the stage of reducing the amount of characters in each line to less than 255). Any help would be much appreciated. CMR
  10. I don't think though that Alabama is the problem because I get almost the same answer but with the first line of the Germany, Canada, Switzerland and Austria zones. All the world zones have been imported successfully. Also, how exactly does one put in a query in phpMyAdmin as you describe? Not at all experienced in doing this. Thanks, C
  11. I'm trying to copy and paste some of the world zone contributions sql files from bbedit into the zones table in phpMyAdmin. But I keep getting this message: Database catalog running on localhost Error SQL-query?:? INSERT INTO zones VALUES ( 1, 223, 'AL', 'Alabama' ) MySQL said: Duplicate entry '1' for key 1 Back It doesn't matter which zones I copy and paste - after a certain amount I keep getting an error which is similar, with or without Alabama! Is there a limit to the amount of zones I can have in the zones table or something?
  12. yes but what do you do with them then? How exactly do you the stuff into the database? Do you copy and paste them into the field under the SQL tab in phpMyAdmin (the bit that says "Run SQL query/queries on database catalog") or do you paste it into this field BUT under the zones table. Escuse me if I'm thick but this is new to me. Don't want to mess up my database by doing the wrong thing, and not sure how to correct a mistake if I make it.
  13. OK, I've downloaded some contributions that don't come with any instructions - only sql files. (I'm talking about UK_all_zones-1.0 which has the file uk_zones.sql). So, assuming that I need to somehow get this into my database through phpMyAdmin I first open phpMyAdmin. Problem is from WHERE exactly do I Run this sql query (or Browse the Location of the textfile)? First I select my Catalog database and select the SQL - I seem to be able to do it there, but since this is a ZONES file I wonder if I should select the table 'zones' (Database catalog - Table zones running on localhost) then select the SQL tab and run it from there??? Also, I having problems 'Browsing' the location of the sql textiles. Can I open this sql textfile in bbedit and copy and paste it into the field which says 'Run SQL query/queries on database catalog' ???
  14. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions It would be cool if the above contributions list had a ratings and reviews option on them, as well as having the option of listing them in order of popularity, similar to download.com. There are so many contributions it would be good to know what we are getting into before trying a new package.
