Well, the tech support at the hosting company has fixed the problem by running a "repair" on the 'whos_online' table. This is what they said:

"Thank you for contacting support.

I have run a repair on your database which has corrected this. Databases with a lot of data being added/removed can sometimes become corrupt. This is specifically true for "session" tables where every visitor is added to the table. If for some reason they leave and the table isn't updated correctly it can cause it to crash.

If you have a large site we suggest optimizing your tables once every couple weeks to ensure any "stuck" or corrupted table data don't cause a crash. You can also repair the table any time via the phpMyAdmin (DB Admin) icon in your control panel."

Does this make any sense? Is there a way to optimize the tables as they suggest, or do I just have to wait until the site crashes again and run a repair in the MySQL on the specific table?

I don't ever remember us having a login with a social media option. It was either shop as a guest or create an account.

So is this issue something with the database or would it be on the hosting company's end? I don't know how they fix it each time it happens and I'd really like to make it stop!

How would I go about disabling it?

Like I mentioned before, I did not setup this site, I have just been maintaining it and updating some content and the graphics.

Hi -
I just installed this module and the most recent update for it on my store. It is working fine in the admin side, but when I just went to checkout and order to test it I get a white, blank screen when you get to the "payment information"( or checkout_payment.php) page.

Does anyone have any idea of what would be causing this to happen?
