Hey Dailce, I'm following the upgrade path here and loving the changes / additions in each release. Thank you. I have a little issue occurring when using the current (v1.4) installation of the Socializer. When my FF or IE browsers are rendering the 'product_info.php' pages in my site the little magnifying glass icon on my search bar (at the top) now appears to drop down to the next line. Nothing else in that page is moved / modified at all from what I can tell. This issue doesn't happen when I remove the Socialiser lines of code from 'product_info.php' <script language="javascript" type="text/ecmascript" src="social/js/mootools-1.2-core.js"></script> <script language="javascript" type="text/ecmascript" src="social/js/socializer.js"></script> <link href="social/css/socializer.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> When I compare the rendered source of the page (View source in browser) with the Socializer code in the page and then once again without the Socializer code in the page the pages look almost identical. There are a couple of rows of whitespace in different line numbers but none of them appear to be within any significant html tags. If you wouldn't mind taking a look to see if there is anything you could suggest?? My Website Any advice is greatly appreciated!! EuroTimmy

Thank you for the button change but this seems to only change the link to add the model number... I perhaps didn't explain very clearly... When I surf to one of my product pages (product_info.php) and 'Share' the product to my FaceBook account it makes the subject of the post into the full product 'page' title (from across the browser title) which in my case is too long because I have other stuff strung on to it. I would just like the FaceBook (and other sites) to have the name of the product from the 'product_name' value in the code. Please, if you wouldn't mind, take a look at the site to see what I mean: BikeBling.com.au You were exactly right! In fact it was caused by the "Lightbox" contribution it would seem... Just for others to keep in mind there is a "Shadowbox" contrib which I am using now to replace the Lightbox and it's working with the Socializer js scripts just great it would seem. I'll also go get myself that version 1.1 now dailce... thank you again.

Hi folks, Thank you dailce for a cool contrib, very easy to install and use!! Could I please ask how I can stop the product 'page title' from being used as the Subject / Info in each of the links. Instead I'd like to make it the product name. I assume (I'm no coder) I can change this in the 'socializer.js' file at about this line: var title= this.title; I thought it might be in this variable but not sure how to edit the js correctly... $products_name . ' [ ' . $products_model . ' ] ALSO Any help / advice appreciated on this stuff... When using Firefox2 or Firefox3 the email send works (it sends the email) but the "Your mail has been sent" never appears and the spinning icon never goes away. When using IE7 I get nothing at all when I click on the "+ SHARE" button any any of my products. (The menu never appears) If I can fix these issues I'm a happy boy! :)

Hi folks, I'm having troubles with the shipping and tax in the order totals. I need some assistance please... I thought I could fix this after reading the code but I'm not good enough. I am getting this as I modify anything to do with the shipping. On first view of an order, all totals are correct... as soon as I edit anything about shipping it does this calculation wrong. Sub-Total: $100.00 (Correct) Shipping: $10.00 (Correct) Tax: $10.00 (Correct) Total: $110.91 (Wrong by $0.91) The "Total:" line is adding a second helping of tax (10%) on the shipping fee which already has the tax included!! :) I know this is one I can beat... but only with help from you guys!!

It comes up with either: Foreign looking characters Truncated to being shorter than it should be (cutting off half the text) I think I would just like to parse the string and make it simply read AusPOST Parcel Post but just don't know where to begin... Hello all, A huge thanks to djmonkey1 for a great contribution!! I have installed and am using Order Editor v5.0.2 and only have 1 issue to combat. This is what is in the 'Order Totals:' section for my shipping on orders when I first open the Order Editor. AusPOST Parcel Post (Delivery to Post Code: <b>3196</b><br>1 day(s) Estimated Delivery Time*<br>1 box @ 5.45kg(s)): It looks ugly and is causing problems being sent back and forth to the database... I want to just have AusPOST Parcel Post Being a newbie to PHP I'm not sure how I tell the order editor to look at the string and only write out up to the first instance of ( I think something like this should do it for me but not sure where (and what variable) to use it on??? $ot_shipping = substr($ot_shipping,0,strpos($ot_shipping, '(')-1) Any assistance is much appreciated Tim

Hi mightymidget!! That's awesome... it's my newbie mistake there then. I was under the impression the IPN was simply for Credit / Debit card payment via Paypal and not for regular Paypal to Paypal account transactions! Thank you heaps for clearing that up for me!! T

Hi there! I just saw this post and am in the same position (I think)... I'm not running a live store yet and still developing / testing. I installed the Paypal (standard) payment module I then installed the Paypal IPN contribution (Good contrib, looks like it's just what I need) Initially, after installing just the Paypal (standard) mod everthing there worked / looked great... then I go to install the Paypal IPN mod. The Paypal IPN mod installed and configured in the admin section perfectly... I was really happy... but conserned when it didn't show up as a payment option on the site (checkout)... I was stumped. I went back into admin and did a 'remove' on the Paypal (standard) mod. Now I have tested the checkout and can see / use the Paypal IPN but cannot re-activate the Paypal (standard) mod because it makes the Paypal IPN option vanish from my checkout... Any ideas on how to run the 2 mods at the same time would be awesome! Cheers Tim
