I thought I responded to you, but it appears I actually may have responded to myself (grrr) on this 5 days ago, and just realized it.
Do you mean the file install text 1-4 (I assume it's the one you meant) ?
I did not look down all the way through it as it appeared to be listing the changes that have happened throughout the version upgrades.

I have only downloaded the file you had to the right of your 1.6.1 posting, is that the file you mean ?
I saw some text files in there, but nothing that actually helped me walk through what I needed to do.
Also, I do modify files on the server, and have not yet had any issues doing so.

hi!
did you download the multiple images contribution? i've included an elaborate howto manual on how to install it. let me know if it is still confusing, and i'll take you through it. since you're working directly on your webserver, i would suggest you first ask your hosting provider if they would allow you to modify the oscommerce files.

I am fairly new to using oscommerce, but I'm getting there. I saw your download of 1.6 for multiple pictures for an item.
Where can I go to get a better understanding on how to actually install this, as I need this ability badly.
I did not load oscommerce onto my PC, and I am only running it from my web providers server.
