No Default Time Zone Set

Posted by Harald Ponce de Leon on 03 April 2011 - 12:04

When no default time zone has been set in php.ini, PHP throws the following error message:

PHP Warning: strftime() [<a href='function.strftime'>function.strftime</a>]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Denver' for 'MDT/-6.0/DST' instead in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/oscommerce/osCommerce/OM/Core/DateTime.php on line 37
