I am trying to figure out a way to have the products pricing to be determined by the total square inches of the product. I sell prints that range in pricing from 8 x 8 to 32 x 48 so the number of available choices are very high and not worthwhile to input into a database. I want the customer to be able to select the size they want and the pricing to be dynamically generated based upon the cost per square inch. Any idea how this could be done?

Why don't you just sell your product at a price of $x.xx per square inch.

That way, if the customer wants 200 square inches, they just change the quantity to 200 and hit the update button.
