hello

hope someone can help! i`m just launching my first ecommerce site and need help with the legal stuff.

can anyone supply me with or point me in the direction of free terms and conditions/privacy statements etc.

I am based in UK but the site will trade worldwide.

Well, I think there is somewhere a misunderstanding ... !

There are NO Terms/Conditions/Privacy Statements/Shipping and Return Policies etc. which are "free" or "paid" because all the legal stuff is not (or at least should not be) just "one more contribution" for your e-shop! Once online, you are liable for everything stated in the legal documents (and not correctly done!).

I think that, if you are serious about your business, either you ask your lawyer for advice, or, if you think that you can handle it by yourself, make a reading through laws and regulations and customize other legal documents to your business domain! (and I don't mean by that, that you only change the shop's details!)

Make a search on the Site of the European Union, there is some interesting stuff.

There is an automated service which creates some of those documents, but you have to make a search on the os-Commerce forums to find the address! If I remember well, it was Linda who submitted it!
