My customers get the following error when checking out (only when inputing the cc number wrong):

Payment Information
Credit Card Error!
The first four digits of the number entered are: 4502<br>If that number is correct, we do not accept that type of credit card.<br>If it is wrong, please try again.

on the https://domain.com/checkout_payment.php?payment_error= page.

Obviously this is a valid set of digits for a visa card. The reason I got the error was that I shorted the last digit of the 16 required.

Of course it should not allow the transaction, HOWEVER, the error message is wrong and misleading. Of course we accept Visa, but this says we do not. The message should say that 16 digits are required or that numbers are missing.

Anyone know the answer to fixing this.
