I've just read this article on slashdot: Europeans Battling Software Patents. While reading it, I followed the link to FFII, about the FFII Alert.

But the reason for this post is to see your comments about: e-commerce European Patents. Do these two patents offer a real threat against us, small online shoppers using a fantastic piece of software as osCommerce is, being GLP'ed on top of it all?

What are your thoughts?

I'm worried. On a previous forum post this Norwegian fellow alerts us to Possible Danger in e-commerce.
