Hi all,

Well, it isn't the prettiest thing yet, but functionality wise, I think my new store is pretty much done. If anyone would care to test it out and let me know what it needs added/removed/changed.

Many descriptions are still yet to come.

Please do not make any orders unless you actually want to, as the payment gateways ARE LIVE!!!

Anyways, the store is at http://www.cjandt.com/tools

Thanks

I think the reason nobody has replied to you is that it's the dreaded 'stock Osc'. Don't be put off by that, I think it is a good design. My only critisism is the colour, maybe your header and the big one, lack of content. The orange hurts your eyes after a while and I think a different design in the logo would help.

There are lots of products, but no real information. How about adding some manufacturer info or a few pages about the merits of certain tools over others. I think most people want to see advice and info as well as just a product page.

Apart from that, I like it, lots of white space and easy to navigate through.

I'm aware of the lack of info ;)

That's what I'm still working on. Once that is in place, I plan to work on the layout. It's moreso the functionality that I am currently concerned with. Just want to make sure everything is working as it should.

Plus the fact that I have no imagination when it comes to design/layout...oy... :)

Anyways, thanks for the tips!

hey there..
My family is from Shellbrook and Birch Hills.. familiar with the area?

Anyways, about your cart.. It looks great (doesn't osC look awesome anyway?) but it needs a bit of perking up.. Your header graphic is a bit plain.. maybe include some tools or something to give it that tool-like feel? As well, your category graphics are very small so they get grainy.. maybe resize them in photoshop and save them on a higher quality level so when they're shrunk they don't look like that.

Your right column is pretty wide.. Maybe you could make the credit cards half as wide (2x2 instead of 4x1).

Other than that, rock on! 8)
