Hi everyone,

I have a store almost ready to go live and would like some critical feedback please.

Cosmetically the store looks stock Osc but the feedback from a usability study is very promising. White space and clean looks seemed to be the order of the day from the people involved.

We still have some product categories to fill but that will be completed by next week and we are due to come out of payment test phase with the CC clearing house on Tuesday, so please feel free to add orders at this point. To use a test CC, the number is 4929 0000 0000 6 and the card is Visa. Just make sure the exipry date is some point in the future.


Of particular interest is the integration of the phpBB and level of information on the site. What do most of you think of this?

Hi,

Looks good, but I like the look of OSC out of the box


when I click on create a profile I get an error taking me to this page.

I also like the basic look of osCommerce but here is a comment for you.

Take out both hot links in the Welcome line. Change the wording.
You have a very good looking and easy to see login here box.
A returning customer will know where it is.

Underneath the SignIn.gif put NewProfile.gif and maybe the word Create on top of the newprofile.gif. Link this to the create a new profile page.

Then the Login Here box will take care of both new and repeat customers.

Your site is looking very good.

I can't seem to replicate that error using IE, Netscape & Mozzilla. Would you mind having one more go please.

Thanks Emmett. A good idea. It's one of those where you keep looking at and saying to yourself, should I, shouldn't I. I like your idea though, I'll do that modification.
