I have some free time and I can develop a module (or improve existing one). What would you like to have first?

How about a upload contribution?

I see requests to integrate something similar. Some have images the customer would need to upload to complete the process.

you mean the client will upload an image (for a t-shirt with his photo?)
When? During the checkout or while adding to cart? If you're interested in it, tell me more details.

I have code to upload images, if that is what you want. Chandra said that she would consider adding it to the Option Type Feature contribution, so I've left it at that so far. Apparently she hasn't had a chance to look at the code I sent her, since she hasn't given me any feedback.

In the meantime, I could upload what I have now as a contribution if people want it.

Cheers,
Matt

Yes exactly,

The t-shirt is a great example.

Allow a customer to purchase a t-shirt (or anything) for that matter. Then somewhere either in the chechout or after take them into a upload process to aloow them to upload their image.

I started a site, not taking off at all that would do something similar.

See http://alademos.com.

This is a flash tutorial site. The customer would purchase the tutorials then send in their own logo to be inserted at the beginning frame of every tutorial. I got it to work using the osC but not the upload portion. THey have to do this in a seperate step.

0 orders so far. So this one may not work but the example may help.

I am not sure at what point they should add their image. I would think it best to allow this after payment.

Hey Al.

Did you design and create all of the flash files, or did you get them from the maker of cPanel?

I did them.

As you can see some are different that cPanel also, from an other hosting company.

Piotr;

Two things that have been on my mind for some time which I don't have the native capability to do and haven't had the time to sit down and plug through to figure them out:

1) Add split page results to the admin-> categories.php
2) Add split page results and a search function for the admin to the packaging feature that is offered as an option in the UPS XML contribution at:
http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ons,1323/page,4
... if you want to REALLY see something that doesn't set up right out of the box without some tweaking,

One feature I've been itching to see is similar to the Cieto Feature products
http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,505

But I want it to be modified so you can upload your own custom image and instead of listing all of the featured products at once, I would like to see it randomly rotated each page refresh
This site has a good example

The customer must also be able to crop te pictures online, e.g. the logo is maximum10x10cm but the client uploaded a 10x14cm picture, he/she must be able to see a frame how the picture will be cropped. By default the frame is centered and the client can move this frame.

Hi macki and others,

Perhaps these modules exist already , but I haven't found them...
I'd like to see a module which adds aquisition (???) prices to products.
This module has to be able to extract sales and PROFIT reports from it.
---
Exports in XML of products ordered, so it can be send to the supplier.

hei macki (the one with time) and all,

i would be happy if there is an other paymentmodule. i need one for telecash click&pay.

with this payment methode the form for the user is not at the shop-site, it is at the payment-offerer-site and data is being send to and from the shop.

with a GetOrder-script the the payment-site asks the shop and receive orderdetails and a NotifyShop-script informs the shop, that the payment was successful.

here is the desciption of what is going on. http://www.telecash.de/zip/easy_zahlablauf.zip

if anyone knows a payment-module which is equal to this process i would be very pleased to here from you. i will try to adjust this for me needs.

it would be so great!
thnx larsomat[/b]

Not sure how hard this would be to code or add as a module since I'm not a programmer :(

I'll post this at the top level too and see what others think.

What I'd like to see is a Multi Vendor option (if it's not already available (?))

For example, I wish to create a site which has contributing vendors offering 3D content for 3D designers, animators etc..

Here is waht I'd like to see as options:

1. Each time a Vendor's Product makes a sale, they recieve an email notification of the sale.

2. Stats page for Vendors which would require them to LOGIN. This is where a vendor would be able to view their sales per product (and/or total product sales), per month (year) or on a daily basis and their sales cut based on a percentage value set by the admin (eg...store gets 30% cut and vendor gets 70%). This would also list amount currently owed to the vendor.

3. Admin stats page for all vendor sales (listing sales and sales cuts).

4. Advertising upload option for vendors to add banner adds etc... These would be uploaded only for approval of the admin. (which can be limited to a number of banners and have various options which can be set by admin.) This option could easily be added by me since it would only require some form info added to the stats page...so not really needed to be added in the module.

Hmmmm... thats all I can think of for now. If I think of anything else I'll post it here and at top level.

If you could help that would be nice, but no biggie as it will take me awhile to get the storefront completely set up anyhow.

Thanks,
---Will

To add to the above...

I'm not sure, but the Multi-Vendor option may be able to take advantage of the Manufacturers category that is already available in OSC or added separately. Could be an option of either/or I guess.

DOH! I forgot to mention that the above would include non-shippable items, also.

The content I provide is ESD, so shipping is really not necessary, but I'm sure these would still be nice features to add for shops that operate as brokerages or wish to.

I would a product comparer very badly, like on the Philips site: Philips and then go to for example tft monitors and then click compare.
It seems to be a java script, it's nice with dragging the pictures.
Would be kewl to be able to compare products from different manufacturers. But you will need exact same specifactions in the database not all specifications as the description of the product, that will be a lot of work.

A NZ Bank Transfer Module that works with 2.2-CVS? Pretty please?

All it needs is:

-> Bank Account Number
-> Bank Account Name
-> Bank Name

and possibly

-> Branch Name

The current one doesn't work with CVS.
