Can I sell ebook by using osCommerce?

How could I do it?

Yes. OsCommerce allows you to sell downloads as a standard feature.
I've had 3 children.........how hard can this be???

But the order status is "pending", "processing" and "delivered".

If I sell ebooks, I don't need to deliver goods. The consumers could just download them.

The download is controlled by those status's so if someone pays by check for example, it can be set so they can't download until your paid

I mean I don't need theses statuses "pending", "processing" and "delivered".

Because ebooks could not delivered.

Allowing your customer to download them is just another method of delivery, just virtual.
I've had 3 children.........how hard can this be???

I made a test. But I found the download is not controlled by those status.

I bought a downloadable product and choose payment by check.

Then I found I could download the product in my account area, but the status is still "pending"! I have not paied for the product yet!

So I believe osCommerce could not support ebook goods.

you need to download the downloads controller from contributions
